Boniface actually started playing as a number 10! You can read the interview here!
https://www.pulsesports.ug/football/story/victor-boniface-im-different-because-i-dont-watch-strikers-2023091320515241689
Aribo is an attacking midfielder and more technical! Different profile to those two. Don't let Folorunsho deflected goal deceive you ooo!
so? And when last did bony play that role? A position he played in coming up as a grassroot footballer over 4-5 years ago na em mk I list am as midfielder?

Bro we shouldn’t be hell bent on searching for a number 10, that role is gradually been phased out in modern football. What you truly need is a good CM/CAM or a good ball playing and intelligent Deep lying midfielder

Folorunsho is decent enough to make super eagles bench, same goes to Alhassan too.

Make we no Dey form like say we get pedri, bellingham and de bruyne of this world in the current super eagles team 🤣

Absolutely wrong. The Isreali club should be dragged to FIFA by Enyimba! How do you expect our league to develop when these teams prey on our players? Pathetic!
yes of course

Folorunsho and Alhassan are not near the profile you stated. Deep lying! Iwobi and Onyedika can play that role effectively. Even Nwakali can! Either Kelechi or Boniface can play behind the main striker! I don't understand what you really want again?

Danielnino00:

Here we go!
Voting of Members of the Nomination Committee
Gentlemen and ladies of the thread, it is time for us to vote for those who will stand as representatives of this thread and partake in the selection of award categories and award nominees.
This year, the nomination committee will be made up of at least 7 members: myself, icon4s who pioneered the award will continue as an honorary member of the committee and at least 5 monikers from this thread.
Every member of this thread is eligible to vote and be voted for. But let's keep in mind that this isn't a popularity contest. Vote for those you believe have the knowledge and passion for Nigerian football.
Here's the rule for voting:
1) You're to vote for 5 monikers from this thread to join the committee;
2) Vote the monikers in order of preference, from top to bottom;
3) Points will be awarded to each moniker you vote for. Your first nominee gets 5 point, the second gets 4 points, the third gets 3 points, fourth gets 2 points and fifth gets 1 point.
4) At the end of the voting process, the five monikers with the most points will join the committee;
5) In the event that two or more monikers are tied on points, they will all be added to the committee, as the goal is to have as many monikers to contribute to the process.
6) You're allowed to nominate yourself 😉

Voting closes on Wednesday, November 8th 2023, 10pm Nigerian time.

Thank you.

Voting is officially closed now. Any vote dropped after this post won't be counted.
The results would be announced tomorrow, 10pm Nigerian time.

Thank you all for participating.

Hello folks! Its been a long time!

1) Seems CAF has cleared Gift Orban to feature for the Super eagles instead of Togo

2) Seems Randy Waldrum will continue as Super Falcons coach

Good to see you. The Randy report is a very heartwarming one. He is the dude to the lead our women to Gold at the Olympics, especially after an excellent outing at the world cup.

Lautaro Martinez is a better player than Osimhen right now, he's having an amazing season both in the Seria A and CL.

Creativity doesn't necessarily has to come from the midfield.

Egypt U19 national team manager Wael Riad has revealed that he recently communicated with three players of dual nationality based abroad who are willing to represent the Pharaohs.

Riad confirmed that Arsenal left-back Cam'ron Ismail trained with the squad in Ismaila last month as part of the U19 preparations for the North African Youth Championship which will be held in Tunisia from 11 to 22 November, 2023.

The Egyptian national team rosters are mainly composed of players based in the domestic championship but the Egyptian Football Association want to borrow a page from their Algerian and Moroccan counterparts by recruiting players with multiple citizenship.

Algeria won the Africa Cup of Nations with several dual nationals in their squad including the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Sofiane Feghouli, Adam Ounas and Adlène Guedioura, while Morocco became the first African nation to reach the semifinals of the Fifa World Cup with dual national players such as Yassine Bounou, Achraf Hakimi, Sofyan Amrabat and Hakim Ziyech playing key roles.

Arsenal's first-year scholar Ismail is eligible for Nigeria through his father, Egypt by virtue of being born to an Egyptian mother and England where he was born and raised.

In quotes relayed by Arabian sports website Kooora, Riad told reporters in Wednesday's press conference: "We have dual nationality players, and I was working closely on this matter with the Olympic team, and I actually contributed to bringing Mustafa Ashraf in.

"I contacted three professionals who were on the verge of joining the youth team. There are two players with dual citizenship, namely Cam'ron Ismail, who has Egyptian, English and Nigerian nationalities.

"He welcomed being with us and joined the first camp and did well, but he needs time to adapt."

Ismail was originally a striker before he was converted to a left-back, where he can contribute defensively and offensively.

I had nothing good to say about the past and present players below;

These players were all born in Little Lagos ( Peckham London) That's why I like them so much.

Obagol
Yakubu
Yobo
Ighalo
Etebo
Moffi
Awoniyi
Onuachu
Dennis
Boniface
Iwobi
V.O.
Ndidi
