I did not hear of any update ooooo....

Anytime you send a paid email or make a phone call,it resets the 3 weeks wait again. So it's advised to call only once a month to avoid making delays.

About this, is a court order needed in all dependent visa applications? In a situation where the other parent is dead, is death certificate sufficient enough? When you say court order, do you mean affidavit? And is the process lengthy in Lagos?

you need a court order stating you have SOLE responsibility/custodianship signed by a Judge to reapply for this child and not a cover letter.

I may be wrong....still...it maybe that your employer's licence is under temporary suspension pending addressing an issue...(this has been happening lately to some sponsors)

. Many of these nigerian dorm care agency don't pass basic checks of the Care Quality commission....so they place such under partial suspension and give them time to rectify the issues

If they successful settle with the quality commission....home office will lift their suspension and applicant with pending visa application can scale through......if not, suspension will turn to license revoked....and pending visa will eventually be refused.....

U can try asking your employer what the issues is ..but I doubt they will tell u the exact issue especially if it will affect ur visa

hope you have a backer in UK In case you're money enters voicemail. Ask questions before you part away your 11k . Many has lost so much through all these fake agents.

..some require interview and it will be done same day with the biometrics....

Application can be done from anywhere there is internet as long as your details is available..
What u should be afraid of is ...is ur agent legit
Nairaland cannot confirm that for you....


The worst u can do is go online and check the name of the company on UKVI sponsor list if they at least have right to hire from oversea

Hi. If the other parent is dead, then death certificate is all that is needed. If you have burial pictures and funeral arrangements you can add them but to be honest not necessary as long as it is a true case of death.

nothing to worry about… all documentation are scanned onto the system for them to see by you… . so no one is going to be checking if your documents are laminated or not.

Please, confirm, are you applying from outside the UK or inside ? They both have different application links. If you actually used the correct link (outside the uk), then your reply should be "No".

I want to know if there's something I'm not doing well. I hold a master's degree in public Health Education and bachelor's degree in health education. I'm open to corrections and recommendations. check your CV.. UK don't send ur degree and master's degree. Tailor your CV base on skills and your abilities you have acquired.
