Afreximbank and Anambra State have today signed two mandates, heralding a pivotal moment in the state's development. His Excellency Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Mr Christian Udechukwu, Commissioner for Industry, Mr. Mark Okoye – CEO of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA), and Afreximbank President Benedict Oramah jointly endorsed these transformative deals, charting a course for the future of Anambra State. The first initiative entails the provision of capital raise financial advisory services, amounting to an estimated USD 200 million. This funding is dedicated to crucial projects, including the development of the Ikenga Mixed-Use Industrial City Project, investments in the Anambra Export Emporium, and the establishment of the Akwaihedi Unubi Uga Automotive Industrial Park. The second initiative focuses on the creation of the Operational and Governance Framework for the Anambra Diaspora Fund, aiming to leverage the resources and expertise of the diaspora community for the state's benefit. Furthermore, the mandate encompasses capital-raising financial advisory services for key projects such as the Anambra Intra-City Rail Master Plan Project. These initiatives underscore Afreximbank's unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and sustainable development. The signing ceremony took place on the sidelines of the ongoing #IATF2023 in Cairo, Egypt. #Afreximbank Nlpfmod Mynd44 https://www.facebook.com/100069540374656/posts/pfbid02AnhyrRqU8c8RG98RghPMYeuDoQbpbUt9aDuZmd54UJqwZWgrT2tKNAQNZtVNYbiFl/?mibextid=Nif5oz 4 Likes

That's a great development for Anambra state, anything to move my state forward is highly appreciated. Haters and Igbophobes won't be happy over this.Their BP will rise higher than the Statue of Liberty in US , and some will even bark and howl like a rabid wolf. 5 Likes |

Brilliant! Especially the one of the diaspora fund….its what i’ve been suggesting for months! The state gov’t should embark on a rigorous promotion drive for this initiative, with the aim of raising at least $1 billion in the next two to three years that will be channelled towards funding targeted socio-economic enablers! 3 Likes |

You can never see them move any positive news about Anambra state to front page, the thread were Anambra state was leading state in education with credible source they pushed it one side, the thread that standard organization of Nigeria gave certificate to 35 new companies in Anambra state with credible source they ignored the thread, despite calling their attention, many threads about projects going on in Anambra, they ignored, but once you publish negative news it will grace front page, you guys are wasting your time in trying to smear this great state, we keep waxing strong despite you guys Shishenanigans 6 Likes |

Anambra1stSon2: The highlighted part below 👇 is my favorite “The second initiative focuses on the Operation and Government framework for the Anambra diaspora fund, aiming to leverage the resources and expertise of the diaspora community for the state’s benefit” If harness well, it will bring huge developments into Anambra and Igbo land in general A lot of our people outside the country are already looking towards that avenue, how they will be donating/contributing their own quota in developing Anambra/Ala Igbo be it financially or otherwise Anambra will wear a new look after Soludo must have finished performing his wonders in it 4 Likes |
