As the election draws closer to elect the next governor of Imo State, one of the leading contesters is Senator Athan Achonu of the Labor Party. Achonu is married to Aisha Abubakar Achonu, a native of Zamfara state, Nigeria . His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi has been present in few of Imo LP's campaign rallies, gathering support of Imolites for Achonu and LP's victory. If it happens that Sen. Achonu wins the 11th November governorship election in his state, Imo, then a new record of having a Fulani first lady in Imo state will be made. It will be the first time in the entire South East, where a woman from the Fulani extraction will be a First Lady. The women of the State will also be looking forward towards learning some Fulani/Hausa culture and other new things from Aisha Abubuaka Achonu. This may also downplay the hitherto dislike of the Fulanis in the region, and could open up a channel for warm embraces among the Igbos and Fulanis. For now, this history will wait until the results of Imo 2023 Gubernatorial election is announced. 3 Likes 1 Share

What kind of useless inciting topic is this? Don't we have an Igbo first lady in Ondo? Whoever created this thread is a slowpoke. By the way, this does not refute the fact that we don't like Fulanis and will never like them. We don't hate them either. They should just be on their own and we will be on our own. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

We love her like that. Na our daughter in-law, Our wife and a mother of our children. We are not like the trablistic Af0nja that is full of hate. The intention of this article is to incite tribal tension between Igbo and Fulani probably by APC western zone. But their evil plans against the Igbo have always backfired against them. 5 Likes 1 Share |

WeLive:The days of Labour party is numbered in biafra land and labour party is a thing of the past in biafra land; Biafrans would rather support APGA (Biafrans party formed by ojukwu and Biafrans) than support labour party or any other party after what happens in the past elections. APGA Candidate tony ejiogu is the next governor of imo state and if APGA can not get it then APC hope uzodinma should continue his second term; God forbids that labour party should win the imo state governorship election which holds 11 November 2023. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avfW9HDUKtI&pp=ygUUVG9ueSBFamlvZ3UgRGFuY2luZyA 2 Likes |
