Gold

I exited gold short just at market close. I changed my mind cos I'm due for withdrawal on Wednesday, 15th, and I'm just OK with what I have got rn.

Although short view continues, I exited only because of the above reason. However, I plan to enter again if ONLY monday can touch Thursday's open; else, if it continues to fall massively on Monday - I will say bye bye to her and let her go. I will do no trading on Tuesday since Wednesday will be a withdrawal day.

Shalom!
Let me quote this for record. E get why.

I see something

I understand everything you are saying but do you think everyone disqualified in the competition was cos they hit DD? No, some were disqualified cos of wrong lot placing and that's cos no volume limit as you claimed..
I was disqualified cos I placed an entry with 0.5 lot instead of 0.05 lot but I won't complain cos it was a competition..
And that happened cos I was using 0.5lot for prop firm competitions. And I know I'm not the only one in this situation

Sam and infofirst have the best say in this

I completely agree with you , rules are rules , I see alot of people opening 4, 5 positions when the it was stated that the maximum positions should not exceed two.

What do you mean by what you said undecided, you can open up to 20 position as long as the total lot doesn't exceed 0.20.

The market is never wrong in what it does; it just is. Therefore, you as an individual trader interacting with the market—first as an observer to perceive opportunity, then as a participant executing a trade, contributing to the overall market behavior—have to confront an environment where only you can be wrong, and it's never the other way around. As a trader, you have to decide what is more important—being right or making money—because the two are not always compatible or consistent with one another.

From the previous competitions you can attest the fact that from 50th position to the last could not make up to 15 percent. This month's competition price was increased from the first position to 99 position can win 10k or more account.
I hope I've been able to confuse you a little tongue

For those who think their debts have been forgiven by MTN they should think again 😂

https://www.nairaland.com/7907800/mtn-apologises-glitch-customers-debts

Someone asked me if I was MTN's spokesperson. Isn't it obvious that in the absence of official notification to that effect from them, and knowing that their services have been prone to glitches in the past, that it is very safe to conclude a glitch occurred?

The forex market is not infallible as long as it was invented by humans with mortal bodies, forex market is just like any other business run by highly connected individuals for profit with very little or no supervision. Even countries and government borrow money from these powerful individuals. The truth is that this information is useless and meaningless to the retail trader because he or she can never have access to these powerful individuals. It's not the forex market that's buying or selling to the retail trader, it's these powerful individuals and their banks and conglomerates that are buying from the retail trader and selling to the retail trader at the same time creating liquidity that drives price. Remember they'll always want to buy from the retail trader at the cheapest price and sell to the retail trader at the highest price and so most retail traders loose their shirts both ways in the long term.

Ok but remember he said his stop loss are barely being kissed 1'% of the time. How does he do it?
Mr gabson character trade, and also looks at imbalance and momentum. But it's still difficult to get to his level. ( Wish he can throw more light on there)
Now I just reverted back to my lazy man trading (aud/nzd) on my live account.
Which I can conquer other regions like my oga them.
We'll get there

Good evening, happy weekend to you all.

AU analysis: Weekly closed bearish while hitting the monthly bearish gap low, September high which is a form of IRL. Anticipating price to seek ERL on the monthly. Price is now in a deep discount on the weekly where it may seek ERL which is the high that hit the low of monthly gap. Monday will give a clear direction along with cpi.

COT report has not been updated.

My bias for last week was wrong, hopefully this week may be right.

Returns for this month comp, -1.68%.

Journal your trades.

abham:
Good evening, happy weekend to you all.

AU analysis: Weekly closed bullish while taking out weekly sell stops 3 bar price pattern. Price is now bullish maybe drawing to the monthly gap between July low and September high.

Bar chart technical are showing a buy, comm. are net long, while the hedging program is still at the extreme buys. IOF on the D1 is aligning bullish from my own view. Weekly tf is bullish from the current range and i will be looking for buys below Sunday op and Monday 6pm op.

closed last month comp with 12%. No trades for this month.

Journal your trades.

Davigle your Markups are nice, Usd will likely drop due to seasonality and quarterly shift and Powell may likely not hike rates till Q2 of next year.
