That the APC in those 3 Wards scored 26965 votes whilst PDP scored 159 votes. He maintains that the LG Collation Officer used his power to cancel them at the State Office in Yenagoa........ Observation noted and overruled by the RO.

Though he has a case. All the areas APC was leading in bayelsa, the state REC ordered that the results should be moved to yenagoa for collation.

Two things I would recommend to be considered in the electoral law: firstly, nobody should be sworn into office without exhausting the complete legal process. Secondly, the onus of defending the winner should be shifted to INEC. INEC should be saddled with the duty of providing the evidence to substantiate and defend the winner they declared. Where they can’t defend the results sufficiently, the election should be cancelled.
