In every successful organization, there is hierarchy and line of authority. Everyone needs to understand their roles and hierarchy in the marriage.

The husband is the Chairman of the Board of Directors while the wife is the Managing Director. Marriages that doesn't have that understanding will struggle significantly.

Your husband is your captain, run your decisions by him for approval, concurrence and authority. Respect your husband and every other person will respect him especially when they have a lot of respect for you.
