not a good idea for spousal sponsorship, you should wait to be told by ircc. if not, you will complicate your own process.

Not necessarily. My husband did upfront medicals in February and we submitted the application in March. He has gotten PR.

I havent done medicals yet, i did my biometrics since Aug 30th and i havent been sent mail to do medicals so i am also waiting and praying

Yes, my wife sent the webform same day I got the PPR email. They responded the following day that they got the webform. Based on information from WhatAspp group for virtual landing, on the average so far, it takes between 5 to 7 days to get the first portal invitation after sending the webform. My wife didn't attach any document to the webform. All she did was indicate she is in Canada and provided her current address (which Accra has already updated on her file). I learned documents like passport photo will be uploaded via the portal.
