Credit Score - certificate

Credit history - experience

Experience > certificate

Build your experience.

If you don't have a history, you are high risk to these lenders and even if your score is 999 it does not guarantee CC will be approved for you or lenders will give you good rates.

Credit history is a record of how you’ve managed the repayment of debts, such as credit cards and loans.

Credit score is like an opinion everybody has one or a suggestion telling the creditor this person is worth checking out. Your history is what determines your substance. The creditor looks at your profile and what do they see - nada - they move on or the sharks offer you rates that are ridiculously high.

Thanks for the response..

How do I build up the experience?

I noticed a note of indiaphobia creeping into this thread. I work with loads of Indians and have found them to be made up of the good, bad and ugly. Like literally every human being on earth. If they seem more in number and more prosperous, it's because they started emigrating before Africans and are now well into the 4th generation of British-Indians.

We should study them so that in our 4th generation, we too will have a UK PM of Nigerian origin and wield tremendous economic and political power.

Speaking about these 2 rape cases involving Nigerians does not mean that every Nigerian man is being painted with the same brush. It's an important discussion to be had because who knows how many people have gained insight on what is considered inappropriate sexual behaviour in UK/Europe. Even just being aware of the serious consequences is enough to make some think twice or more.

You probably arent seeing what Im seeing on Twitter

Well, from the Qs I have seen, Its not Indiaphobia; people are just curious as to why they are dominating in most countries

Their numbers largely help them, along with the kind of community they have

I really don't see Nigerians being like them in the UK in the next several hundred years. For one, our numbers don't match up (doesn't mean a Nigerian cant be MP but more numbers mean someone is more likely to get there). I mean, people were encouraging others to aim higher for better job positions and others were snickering and bashing those trying to encourage them

I pray we get there though smiley

I mean being numerous cannot get you the education and influence needed to build generational wealth now , can it?

Its determination on the part of the immigrant teacher or careworker( which are not massively well paid jobs although very necessary) to send their children to good schools from where they can get better jobs. Thats how it builds.

Please check with the Home Office and update us with their response.

My trust engages the service of NHSP, and they generate Payslip differently.

Whatever their answer might be, kindly update us.

So I reached out to my HR and this is the reply, however I have been advised that I double check with the home office and I will do that.

I also know for a fact that my trust provides our bank shifts. I know some Trusts uses agency like NHSP etc to run their bank but ours is not the case.

Thanks for your input once again.

Oranges and tangerines.

My block of text that you quoted was making a very different point. I was very careful with my choice of words. You’re veering off a whole different tangent by primarily capitalizing on what wasn’t the focus of what I typedβ€” which is the attitude to CONSENT, and an environment that enables and emboldens sexual ills. πŸ™πŸΎ

jedisco:

We should be careful not to reflect the ill of one person against a group moreso when the evidence doesn't point to that.

Stereotypes against blacks moreso immigrants are well established. Oddly, I just stumbled upon an expose by Sky that showed the profile of a white lady was almost 40% likely to get a positive reponse while house hunting compared to a profile by a black lady even though all variables were same. If you ask the racist landlords, they'd point to a newspaper article to satisfy their stereotypes that black women are ...

Nigeria like every nation has its problems which should be addressed. Regarding rape, there is a significantly more worrisome rape culture in India, Pakistan and many Asian or Arab nations but we don’t go about seeing every Indian man as a potential rapist that needs to be constantly reminded of its repercussions

A single person did wrong- he had been jailed. Reasonably so. That he is black/Nigerian does not reflect on us all.

Did you? May i ask why?

Before you answer, look at your gross salary, then look at your tax. Its a huge chunk, isnt it. Now imagine Bonzo taking that tax from you and immediately handing it to his mates.

Did you know anyone who died during covid? What if I told you they would more likely than not, still be alive today if not for Bonzo? He refused to attend COBRA meetings. He also bought fake PPE with a huge markup which remain unused till today.

Pray tell what do you like about this man?
I still wonder why people think Bozo is competent. I thought he was very incompetent even before he became PM and he did not disappoint after he became the PM. I have concluded that if you know how to talk and waffle, people may mistake that for competence. But what do I know?

I can't remember reading from anyone here who says he is competent, his incompetency was in the open, by the way Sunak was at the heart of that incompetent govt, the whole covid fund management was a disaster and we are all paying the price now

Its important to take note of this section of the case and during the evening the defendant and a woman had been kissing. The woman, who was described as "heavily intoxicated", later went to the toilet and the defendant followed her. In the toilets Oriaku raped the woman in one of the cubicles.

The fact that they were kissing before she went to the toilet gave him the impression that the sex was consensual.

Sex with a girl while drunk is not considered a consensual act and this is something many new immigrants failed to take note of here.

Many immigrants believe that when the ladies here smile, flirt and drink with them, all is set for them to dive in! Many make these assumptions out of ignorance, many get away with it and a few get caught up and we hear about it.

The other day, somewhere in the North, this guy was caught visiting an underage girl... Actually dressed up and travelled a long distance to hangout with this girl. Same assumption, they say hello, smile, flirt and gbam, they interpret it as 'the girl is into me'

You hustle and go through all the stresses to leave Nigeria and then come here and do this!!! Really very shameful and disgusting.

I avoid the ladies here like a plague. The juniors I mentor in the office, I keep them at bay, with many boundaries set! Any small thing the team/group will arrange drinks, kilode?

It's not to put anyone under pressure......... But simply, something that people MUST be thinking about .......

Why continually pay your landlord's mortgage..... RENT MONEY IS DEAD MONEY......πŸ˜πŸ˜‚

Someone phoned me month's ago,..... He has been renting for over 3 year's, rent was Β£1500 pcm .......

He saw a letter from his landlord's mortgage company....

LL's mortgage pcm was £375.00 ...... If you fancy sponsoring your LL's holiday's, paying for his PCP vehicle etc etc ....... Keep paying rent ........🀣😁

Don't build a house in Nigeria, whilst been a tenant in the UK ......πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ

I beg to disagree chief lexusgs430!

Rent money is NEVER dead money!!! For the interim period when one has shelter, warmth, security of personal effects etc., these monies have served a good purpose pending when one secures a home via whatever route. These monies should be dignified and that way people are encouraged and not put under pressure. It's pertinent to note that it's not everyone that has the capacity to ignore rent money is dead money. It hits hard and hits a nerve.

Now, if you so (always) gleefully call rent money, dead money, then what are you going to call all these monies.... the monies given to olosho, lent to friends (and later cancelled due to inability to payback), monies that go to gamble (baba ijebu etc), drinking, and all the loads of nonsense we do with money??

Please, let's learn to dignify certain things.

Just like one saying health care jobs are useless jobs! This is total gibberish!!!! There's dignity in labour. It's in our place to reinforce this and not tarnish legit sources of income for hardworking fellows.

Consent can be withdrawn at anytime so a voice note or video before sex doesn’t really do anything

Which now brings us to the point where we ask ourselves... If one requires this much evidence to 'shine congo', then is the risk/shame+infection worth the few minutes/hours (depending on the capacity of the man) of pleasure?

Why not entirely avoid these ladies and get busy with other things, making money etc. If you must 'shine congo', get a girlfriend, get married rather than ending up like Abiola Tijani?

Stop comparing oranges and apples....... Every landlord, might have started their life as a tenant........

And yes, RENT MONEY IS DEAD MONEY......... But whilst making those rent payments, work out a strategy that enables you, buy your own property.......

Other points you raised, are completely different, those could be classified entertainment, working life balance and better financial discipline.......

But you know some olosho's would charge you pump price (₦15,000), other olosho's would charge you ₦100,000+........ Dig what works for you ......πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

...and who told you people ain't making plans to own their homes and become LLs of several other properties, not just one?! There is a way to subtly put certain things than just always blurting out rent money is dead money everytime.

Some jobs need you to have stayed in the UK for some time to carry out a detailed check on you. Police report from your country is not needed. They want to rely on your stay in the UK to carry out that check. So not having enough foot print in this case may mean someone who has stayed in the UK for more time is more likely to have entered one trouble or the other than some one who just came. However, it doesn't not mean that the person who just came is a saint but with time the person may start to reveal true colour. That is the reason they need you to have stayed in the UK for some time for some jobs. But it varies. Some govt depts ask for something as simple as dbs, criminal record check or Bpss. Just always check what they need before applying . Most home office vacancies will ask for a certain form of security check. For people saying they don't ask that for junior roles please and please dont pay attention to them just follow what is written on the advert. The least home office requires from what i have seen so far is ctc clearance. Which requires you to have stayed in the UK for 3years.

Please, can this DBS be gotten while in Nigeria or it must be from the UK?
