How can she have the recorded clips when it's not her camera. Even w/o the memory card it's still functional. Some cameras use WiFi.

This does not add up, if the hotel wanted to put a camera why will they do it in an empty tissue which will obviously be seen. It maybe a lousy cleaner or even one of her friends that did it, definitely not well planned

I doubt the management of that apartment knows about it, it might be a saboteur staff. The management can't be foolish enough to put a camera in a tissue box and place it somewhere their customers could access it, rather they will conceal it somewhere more discreet like the ceiling, pop or wall of the bathroom.

It might even be a customer who is trying to blackmail the other partner he/she came with, might have left it there because he/she had to leave before victim, he/she was unable to pick up the camera in the presence of the intending victim.

If it was left by the last person who rented the room, then it’s the hotel management’s fault. It’s their responsibility to inspect, clean and tidy up the room before renting it to the next lodger.

The hotel management can deny though. This happened last year, not sure how it works in law but I think the hotel management can also claim that this lady wants to blackmail and ruin their business...just like the lady who made a video about some tomato paste a while ago.

Report and take them to court. You don cash out be that.

The management will still be held responsible. Whenever a guest checked out of a lodge, there must have been a well-trained housekeeper who should have detected such an anomaly before letting out to another.

They made a mistake touching the camera.
They should have worn a glove to pick it.
Forensic analysis would have determined the fingerprint of the individual who placed it there.
Nigerians need to be taught how not to tamper with evidence of crime.
