When they killed, maimed and locked up protesters during the end sars-protest Nigerians never knew they were testing the waters. Now they dealt with Ajaero. If this is allowed to continue unchecked then we should know that the dark days of military repression is upon us again and it would be a great tragedy after all the sacrifices Nigerians have made over the years.
The political class have taken Nigerians for a ride for so long to the point that it is now as if the citizens are existing for the whim of the political class. This should not be so.
The people must realize that these criminals derive their powers from them. They are there to serve the people and not themselves. The president and governors are not Gods but servants to the people.

Yes, the current economic realities may make it difficult for President Tinubu to meet all the demands of the Organized Labour and NLC and TUC are aware of this but Tinubu is currently on a high horse of 'disgust and suspicion'. He needs to come down and reach vital compromises.

If former President Buhari had a smooth relationship with NLC and compromised on removal of fuel subsidy, how much more Tinubu who prides himself as a political strategist.

In conclusion, I believe NASS should amend Labour laws to insulate serving NLC and TUC leadership from partisan politics in this case Labour Party. It will help when NLC and TUC are negotiating with FG. The current situation is untidy.
