I don already apologized to those who pointed this out.yes ,majek was the no1 spot on the list actually!ihow can anyone even forget majek? someone the Bob Marley family in Jamaica almost believed was a reincarnation of Marley himself! problem is that majek was in a class of his own,so comparing with others regae artiste doesn't make sense to me .the only other two artiste that even come close to doing pure regae is Wiliki and Victor Essiet (Mandators)kimono, Daniel Wilson only did what we called Ragamuffin (a type of dancehall)but not real regae tune like majek.though majek improvised by creating a unique style he called Pangolo, adding talking drum,and some other instruments .what later befell him remains something that pain me to this day!such a huge loss of personality and talent !we shall always love MF! thanks for reminding me jare

I heard Kimono and Majek worked for some time in Evi Edna's band in Benin in the early 80s. I haven't confirmed it yet though
