I submitted at DHL office in Ibadan, but my passport got to VFS office Abuja the following day.

I suspect some passports are stamped outside Nigeria. I believe this is the reason for delay in some cases.
mine too got to Abuja the following day and I was notified that it’s being taken to irss. That’s was the last notification I got from them.

Goodday guru's in d house. Please I need Ur help. My wife applied as a student in one of the Canadian universities and I as her dependent and we have gone for biometric since February of this year but we haven't done our medicals because we are waiting for them to request for it. Note that we have contacted the embassy but they are telling us that it is still in process. Please I want to know if this delay is normal or if anyone is experiencing such delays or if it is possible we applied again. Thank you.

Please I have a question. Need help.

After a visa refusal in October. I reached out to my college for the next available intake but my program was not available till 2025.
I choose another programme to be able to defer for the next session I want.
What’s the best explanation to give the visa officer to avoid red flags.

Please help.

Thank you.

Pls How did you show proof of your husband being able to pay the second year expense? Did you use an agent because at this point I am almost regretting using an agent, the stress they put me through is too much.
Ethanuella:

2 years program totaling 18,900 cad (12,852 for yr1, 6k for yr 2)

I only showed Pof and living expenses for one year including 3k miscellaneous, then explained how my husband is willing and capable of paying the remaining, and how he’ll still be able to fend for himself and the kids.

I used oanda rate

No, I did it myself.

I showed his ongoing contract letters and purchase orders with about 4 companies. The contracts are usually renewed every year, and I showed ones for last year too to prove to them that it’s an ongoing thing.

I didn’t show his statement of acct

Ah, this your approval is giving me so much hope, I wish, meaning your husband did a gift deed to you right? Is your husband fully sponsoring you or he's just a co sponsor? Pls don't mind my many questions..

Any one will work fine but just make sure the amount is sufficient
Badadvisor:

Sorry for the too many questions Bro.
Which do you think is better and gives a higher chance of visa approval?
Depositing 10k cad into the gic with my domiciliary account or my sponsor sending some amount of money into my Nigerian account?

A copy of the PPT data page with the slip attached after Biometrics, consent form and Passport, I also included the receipt of the transmission fee since I did my Biometrics in Lagos.

But my opinion, even those that submitted in Lagos after me have gotten their passport back. I think its better to submit in Lagos and hope for the best.

refer to the invoice and I paid DHL 13,477.5 for shipment charges.

On the website I saw that it is 22,320 for courier fee, it that money for one passport or all the passports in one package.
