No they are already dualizing Iweka road-Moore street Onitsha

Soludo should start taking the environment of the state seriously. He is acting like a mediocre. What is worth doing is worth doing well. How can he be constructing this road that a lot of out of state visitors use to access main market and still leave the ugly sight of the sand dredgers to remain there? The sand dredgers ought to be relocated from that place to somewhere far away from the vicinity of the city. They are an eyesore to the road. Even the road needs to be dualized. There is ample space for that. Same thing he should do along the Onitsha/Enugu expressway by relocating a lot of those caricature markets away from the highway. The caricature flyover that Peter Obi built along the expressway at Nkpor also needs to be demolished. The Nkpor market should be removed from the expressway, so also should the mammy/tomato market by army cantonment which has spoiled the once serene area that the Eckankar church gave that environment. Large parts of the relief market needs to be demolished. All those markets along the express offer a poor view of Onitsha to those who pass through the state. It is a shame that Soludo is a small thinker who is too timid to carry out major infrastructure upgrades in the state. Even to borrow money to do what is needed scares him. He really needs to be tutored by Dave Umahi who didn't mind borrowing money from Islamic bank to do what needed to be done in Ebonyi state. Onitsha and environs are too strategic to be left looking unkempt.

Even when Owerri is still a slum and a glorified village which has made millions of imo indigenes to keep trooping to a progressive developed city of Onitsha for greener pastures. Owerri should be demolished if imo state ever wishes to have a befitting state capital
