Anything goes.

The judicial system and NJC is dead.

Nobody cares about them anymore.

Is that the first case she has handled?
She is very close to retirement.
The report says the woman has been investigated for corruption and other wrongdoing.
The only issue is if the governor has power to suspend her, and I am sure he must have made consultations before making the decision.
From what I have read, She is a very corrupt judge.
iCauseTrouble:
i hope this is not related to the Timothy Adegoke and Rahmon Adedoyin's case

He can not suspend a Chief Judge. Only NJC can. This was how problem started in some states leading to serious issues. I think Cross Rivers was one of such states.

I expect NJC to react very very soon or immediately to avoid any confusion because that his 'Acting Chief Judge' may not be accepted by NJC. If that man accepts that appointment from Gov Jackson Adeleke, he may even land in trouble with NJC. Check my signature for free stuffs!
suspend not sack. President Buhari suspended Onnogen indefinitely before he resigned.

Adeleke is more learned than the majority of those who hate him. Education isn't only about going to a university.

He couldn't have done that without due consultation. A few days ago, Rivers State Assembly suspended their chief judge. Are they also illiterate?
Rivers State assembly never suspended chief judge. It is a media rumours.

Nice one. Since they decided to dance with politicians by giving cash and carry judgement. The judiciary should be scrapped sef since no one obeys it

The President as GCFR wears two hats and this has been argued and defended by late constitutional lawyer, Law Professor and Elderstatesman, Prof Ben Nwabueze.

The President is the head of the Executive and Head of the 3 arms of government/ tiers of govt. He has no contemporary. That power doesn't exist at the state level. It will be very weak whataboutism to compare and equate the power Buhari exercised as President of the Federation to that of one Governor out of 36.

Imagine a politician with a less value certificate is suspending a whole chief judge of a state. We need to amend our constitution to take away the power of recommendation of judge or appointment of chief judge from the executive arm

This Adeleke is sinking. He has wanted to do that some months ago following the judgement delivered against Raman Adedoyin, the murderous hotelier.

Simply because she is a no-nonsense judge.

Though Adeleke is PDP, our democracy has been destroyed by APC, so he is following the footsteps the power hungry slowpoke Buhari started by arbitrary suspending the CJN, Tinubu followed suit by suspending the CBN Governor without the recourse to the constitution. APC has destroyed Nigeria

Don't mind Zombies. Everything is politics to them. A President suspended a CJN without NASS or NJC recommendation and they all applauded and defended the clearly illegal move.
Suddenly, they've remembered which is right or wrong.
These guys are the enemies of this country

Cite the law or constitution it or you're lying like last time. The state assembly is constitutionally empowered to investigate and remove judges.

“Having received various petitions against the Chief Judge of Osun State bothering on gross misconducts, abuse of office, corruption and lack of respect for due process and rule of law, this Honourable House, in performance of its oversight functions and exercise of its investigative powers vested by the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria (as amended) hereby resolved as follows:
