The club has been looking outside the academy since Arteta arrived. Arteta is not interested in our academy and his young signings and refusal to transition any of our prospects since he took over is enough proof.

I don't think this has anything to do with Gabriel Jesus o. The national team invited him, the club was duty bound to release him provided he is not out injured. Obviously he's back from the injury and would've played this week if arsenal were playing in the league.

Brazil knew Jesus was injured but still went ahead to hand him a call up. I think there is a new FIFA rule that allows countries to certify if a player is truly injured or not. They probably found out some clubs are refusing to release players for international matches under the guise of injury.

This has nothing to do with Gabriel Jesus. Brazil coach even said he would be left at the team hotel with a physio, a doctor and a therapist to assist with his fitness.
