KingOfAllIgbos: Tinubu came third, inec catapulted him to first, it was not the division of pdp that robbed any party, but the bias of inec, pdp didn't divide in 2019 and won, while APC came second, but then again, inec announced APC, it's a match where APC lackey is the referee, the problem is from 1999 constitution, which gives president power to appoint the inec chairman, aka referee, instead of a group of party nominates as done in civilized democracy, pdp's Jonathan failed to manipulate this lacuna, because of his lack of criminal intelligence, but APC's tinubu being a criminal has been using it effectively, recall also that the president appoints the chief justice, so anybody can go to court but can't win APC in,any presidential election dispute With these arrangements, even if all Nigerians voted for another party, APC will still win, 1999 constitution removed the power of the people and put in the hands of the president, this enslaving the people. |

3seriez: Read closely what I wrote. NNPP won both times against APC and were blatantly rigged out. This yeye ABBA will lose if he contests again..he foolishly showed his Idi Amin dictatorial attitude instead of pretending a bit at the start. |

Deemas:. The people you mentioned are members of a party. The embattled governor was a member of PDP until his father in law left PDP to join forces with NNPP. Because of the timing and fear of unknown, his name was unilaterally sent to INEC without primary. The matter was brought to bear when NNPP had the implosion that leaders could not resolved because of ego. So, the issue here is deeper than pre election matter because there was no basis for him to contest in the first place because he belongs to no party. 1 Like |

jude79: Oga, emotions don't win election. APC won the election because the opposition parties were not prepared to win the election. Just look at the off cycle elections just concluded. In kogi, the PDP elements conspired against Dino and despite APC implosion that geared up SDP, the PDP came 3rd. In Imo the same thing. What APC was to unite Rochas faction and other parties were no where to be found. In Bayelsa, APC wasn't prepared and Diri won despite non performance because APC wasn't serious to wrestle power. 1 Like 1 Share |

jude79: Kids' gists. it was not the division of pdp that robbed any party, but the bias of inec, Mumu. Add PDP, LP, NNPP and G5 votes together and tell me your answer. Then, compare it with that of APC. pdp didn't divide in 2019 and won, while APC came second, but then again, inec announced APC, Lol. The same 2019 election that INEC chairman almost destroyed the APC chance of winning the elections by sending electoral materials of APC strongholds to another location? There was no so much disaffection for APC in 2019 compared to 2023, hence the 2 million votes margin. it's a match where APC lackey is the referee, the problem is from 1999 constitution, which gives president power to appoint the inec chairman, aka referee, instead of a group of party nominates as done in civilized democracy, pdp's Jonathan failed to manipulate this lacuna, because of his lack of criminal intelligence, but APC's tinubu being a criminal has been using it effectively, recall also that the president appoints the chief justice, so anybody can go to court but can't win APC in,any presidential election disputeJonathan tried his best at rigging in both SS and SE but their voting strength just wasn't enough to pull weight. The same Jonathan who claimed that three different scanners couldn't read his fingerprint, thereby leading to the abandonment of scanners in both SS and SE to pave way maximum rigging through mass thumbprinting |

maasoap: It is what it is, add which vote, ohh!!, You mean the votes inec compiled electronically which gave it to atiku in 2019, but, presented manual figures after manipulation, and then claimed the electronic aspect of our electoral laws has not yet been passed, by 2022, it was passed, then they came up with the excuse of a GLITCH, LP was able to prove from Amazon servers that there were no GLITCH, but guess what, the president controlled judiciary can't do blip, so far as you control inec and judiciary, you can shift the goal post as much as you deemed necessary, nobody can win a sitting president or party, no matter how popular that candidate is, unless the ruling president, party decide to hold a free and fair election, as for zones, North Central went to labour, cause of what benue and plateau people suffered in hands of fulani herdsmen under buhari, north east was shared between labour and pdp, nw was shared between pdp and nnpp, south east and south south went to labour, sw was shared between labour, pdp and APC, in descending order, rest, your still a kid, neither do you know the inner manipulations in inec, since yo don't work there as I do, when you mature, you'll understand, Joseph stalin puts it succinctly "The people who cast the votes don't decide an election, the people who count the votes do" might I remind you also that buhari and tinubu, are staunch members of Stalin's political school of thought, ahh!! Sorry don't know that also, the cartoon below relates you as a chicken representing the masses, and tinubu, representing Stalin chicken theory of deprivation and deception, enjoy

MasterTee007: Pre-election issue falls into two categories. 1. A pre-election matter which is a schedule under Electoral Act (INEC). Example: Party Primary. 2. A pre-election matter which is not covered by Electoral Act. This type is at discretion of party. Example: A party nominates a single candidate to contest for Governorship and Senatorial seat in the Party Primaries and the candidate won Governorship but lost Senatorial. If it's a schedule under Electoral Act, example 1, the Courts have jurisdiction, even though its pre-general election. If it's not under Electoral Act but is simply a discretion under Party Constitution, example 2, then the Courts lack jurisdiction. |

Re: Kano Governor, Kabir Yusuf Sued His Party, NNPP Over Primary Elections by Zionbel(m): 12:27pm On Nov 18, 2023 |
UselessBuharist: No! That's not the reason for sacking him as governor. The evidence APC brought before the court is ballot papers that were won by NNPP but were NOT signed by INEC, rendering those votes invalid. And after they subtracted those invalid votes from NNPP, they were trailing APC as the number of valid cast votes of APC is more than that of NNPP. That's the simple logic upon which he lost the case that would be cemented at the Supreme Court. |
Re: Kano Governor, Kabir Yusuf Sued His Party, NNPP Over Primary Elections by BabaRamota1980: 12:44pm On Nov 18, 2023 |
3seriez: You are on ground but fail to see the tremor building up under you. NNPP was used as a tool to suppress PDP domination. There are three acts in the ploy. 1. APC introduced a faction in Kano. The breakaway group, led by Abdulmumuni Jibrin, defected from APC and joined NNPP. 2. In NNPP, they created foul points from which electoral victory could be contested post-pdp defeat. 3. After election they put Jibrin Barau as deputy to Senate President. Then introduced faction into NNPP. They announced the sack of Rabiu Kwankwaso from the party. Abdulmumuni JIbrin and his team of defectors returned to their base in APC. NNPP is now vulnerable. APC used the same tactic employed to defeat pdp in Lagos, but with a new twist. In Lagos, Jimi was PDP candidate but a Tinubu implant. Abba could have earned sympathy from investors and merchants in Kano and APC plot to reclaim the seat would fail. He earned their disdain instead. Kano made great socio-economic strides under APC. With his exuberance, Abba threatened that progress and unsettled them. 1 Like |

Nigeria is a Joke. Remember when PDP challenged the double nominations of VIce President Court tagged it as busy body. Now NNPC primary should be there problem not APC at all |

If you are from Kano and have knowledge on Kano politics, Kwankwaso should be solely blamed for Abba K Yusuf's failure in the courts. Kwankwaso is a type of person that doesn't believe in internal democracy he appoints/ selects whom he wants as the flag bearer of a party. He doesn't believe in anything that has to do with due process concerning party affairs. He is a fully blown authoritarian. That was one of the reasons they had problem with Ganduje because kwankwaso always want to be the superior not a subordinate. Kwankwaso is one of the politician I know that conducts primary elections his private residence instead of the Party's Headquarters 1 Like |

BabaRamota1980: No 1 & 2 somewhat agree. No 3. It is the National faction that tried to get rid of kwankwaso, the state NNPP is still intact. Investors & Merchants are like a drop in the ocean when it comes to Kano election. Their value is overrated. Economic strides under APC in Kano, that must be a big Joke. The economy under Ganduje was for friends & family. That man was a disaster. |

Racoon: Go and read the 2019 Supreme Court judgement on Zamfara state election. I remember clearly how how and others like you celebrated that judgement as sound and in accordance with the rule of law because it was against APC. Well, APC is about to benefit from the precedent set by that judgement. If you like cry from now till 2031, it won’t change anything. The rule of law will be applied. Period. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Kano Governor, Kabir Yusuf Sued His Party, NNPP Over Primary Elections by seunmsg(m): 2:25pm On Nov 18, 2023 |
Caseless: This is different. It’s exactly like APC’s case in Zamfara back in 2019. APC won the election but the court ruled that APC did not conduct a valid primary and so have no valid candidate in the election. If NNPP did not conduct a valid party primary, then they have no candidate in the election. 2 Likes |
