Look at the just concluded France match, forget the scoreline and focus on the gameplay, that's how football is supposed to look like. Something like that take decades to build and cannot be achieved by being corrupt. 2 Likes |

Always known about Chidozie Obi-Martin. He's hyped as the new RVP at Arsenal academy. Time will tell on him. He's Danish and English for now. Lol |

TheGoodJoe: Always about what the player brings and not whether he earns in naira or dollars. Quality and attributes first before anything else. Isn't that what we analyse? Or is it the money we analyse? Komekn forever deliberately misses the point. Well said TheGoodJoe 🙌🏽💥 2 Likes 1 Share

TheGoodJoe:Komekn's point is simple. If we have 22 players and it's not clicking for us, and you guys keep advocating for Nwakali, then he must be special - even though you may want to be sleek and disavow this but that's the implication of what you guys are saying. If he's all that why is he where he is - and consistently oo? Quality like cream rises to the top. Komekn is right to examine his club history and use that to undercut this wonderful picture you all paint. I do not believe Nwakali can significantly improve our team the way you guys portray. Not suggesting an alternative does not by itself make your suggestion of Nwakali a worthy idea. 4 Likes |

Mujtahida:same here mate. We have enough midfielders just that jpes is a stubborn goat Playing style or not Nwakali won’t add anything magical to our already existing midfield It will be difficult to find a top African team that can boast of the type of midfielders we hv currently Imagine having midfielders like Ndidi Onyeka Iwobi Onyedika Ifeanyi Mathew Alhassan Fisayo Folorunsho And someone is trying to convince me that nwakali is the missing puzzle? He should do that in his relegation threatened club in Portugal to keep them afloat for next season A useless coach who hv tried accommodating 2-3 strikers with a lean midfield and it haven’t worked but he is still insisting on the same formation, Isn’t that total madness? A country like England hv kane and in form Watkins but will never start both at the same time. Football of this era is won in the middle of the pitch not by deploying 6 attackers. The midfield is the engine/brain box of a team. Few teams that aren’t blessed with technical and creative midfielders play the ones they hv to their best potentials and abilities. We must not hv iniesta, xavi and zidane kinda midfielders to win the World Cup or even the afcon. Morocco made it to the semis without such midfielders, Senegal and ghana made it to the quarterfinals without such midfielders All we need is a sound tactician who knows how well to utilize the players we have. This debate of the lack of technical and creative midfielders is becoming very boring 3 Likes |

charlesemeka85:Kpom. If he's invited, pata pata he throws in one or two long passes, we do woaah, woah but significantly nothing will change because if the guy has the quality (a unique quality as TheGoodJoe touts), then he should not be where he is. Shockingly Uyo stadium stood above the rest of Africa over this weekend! The players could not hold the pitch responsible this time around. I am shocked to see our players laughing and joking all over instagram. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read what Iheanacho wrote on IG 'at least we got a point'. lol These crop of players are just vibes and in... They don't give a f... For your peace of mind do not expect too much! How could you be smiling and posting after playing a draw against Lesotho on one of the best stadiums in Africa/World for international football? How? World Cup qualifiers for that matter!! Big players! low mentality! Shame! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Mujtahida:your last sentence I have also asked that question severally here Na only them dey see this qualities Abi scouts for the whole of europe no Dey see am? For how many seasons/years now we are still raving on the same qualities Abi scouts for Europe don dey take bribe to recommend players to better and stable clubs? If you noticed in the game against Lesotho iwobi and Onyeka over laboured themselves. Even it got to a point the fool the nff employed as a coach deployed a more creative iwobi deeper and pushed a more defensive Onyeka forward 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 To me Lesotho gave us a lot of respect because if they pushed harder they would hv won that game. The mistake they though I won’t blame them was trying to defend their 1 goal lead by having more bodies behind the ball. If they were courageous enough they would hv scored more after having the advantage of scoring first 1 Like |

Mujtahida:Football is not like that! There are club players and there are National team players and there are both! Nwakali is also a freekick specialist and doesn't need to shake like Iwobi before picking a pass. Also he is press resistant unlike Iwobi! 3 Likes 1 Share |

charlesemeka85:Walahi. I became so exhausted with the talk to the extent I capitulated by saying the guy should be invited. Peseiro invite am. And if he does two things will happen. Either he becomes a gem ( a plus for the team) or we see that he's not the working element needed to make the team tick. Besides Nwakali was at the last Afcon oo. I no see anything special him do ooo. 6 Likes |

Mujtahida:if you watched the game against Lesotho you will notice that when ever the team is with the ball especially in midfield Onyeka and iwobi lack numbers to pass to, either they go sideways or the pass back. The front 4 were always pushing further the pitch and they were easily close marked by the opponents back 4 including their DM making it 5 against 4 If we had more bodies in the midfield then the midfielders could easily draw the opponents out by passing the ball around and by doing so will destabilize the opponents low defensive block creating channels for our two wingers and striker to run into. Even having more bodies in midfield will afford our fullbacks to bomb forward confidently when the need arise Jpes no be coach abeg 1 Like |

Marjoribanks:He's been invited before. How did that pan out? Free kick specialist? How many has he scored at his club he regularly plays for? On club versus national team football I know all too well that that distinction manifests itself in the performance of many players but what i have seen over the years is that oftentimes a top quality player in his club performs below par for the national team but I have never seen where a low grade player switches and becomes the formula that makes the national team work. If you know of any such instances please mention them (and abeg don't mention Sunday Mba because as at then Mba was more of an upcoming player (not low grade) who was expected to do great things but even he, faded away) Nwakali is a low grade player. He's been low grade for many years. 5 Likes 2 Shares |
