Judiciary can’t be bullied. Whenever APC loses in court democracy is healthy when it goes south Democracy is in danger . OBIDIENTs are not seeing anything other than bitterness.

you have rights to agree or to disagree, court doesn't work with your agreeing or not. Court work with what is in the constitution and according to sections 163 of the electoral act 2022 it's invalid votes

Mr Jaafar Jaafar PDP doesn't have candidates in 2023 general election in plateau state, it happens in zamfara state in 2019 where all elective position won by APC were sack including the governor . In Kano state invalid votes remain invalid this is very simple logic.

APC did not have candidate in Imo state in 2019 as Uche,Okorocha's son in-law was disqualified for double nomination yet supreme court declared Hope Uzodimma the winner even as he came 4th.

This is not the first time and if parties don't adhere strictly to the law, that governors would be shown the door.



The law is blind to petty sentiments, blackmail, media frenzy and blatant emotions.

Parties must learn to abide by the rules or face the wrath of the law.

They sold Government land , lands in schools , Mosques , even Cemetery wasn't spared. Land meant for hospital was sold to friends and family. They sold hospital land in my Area and built a big event center. When events are holding we can't come out of our houses, we can't pass into or out of the street because of traffic hold up. Quiet residential Area has turned to a Market place.
Green Areas we relaxed & played football as Kids has been sold and turned to Plazas & shops, drawing traffic Jams. The road is narrower, No gutters which leads to flooding during rainy season. They completely bastardised anything called town planning.

The thing no pinch you that's why. We know where it hurts. Social media will tell you what you want to hear, but we saw shege. So Yes we think Alike.

Democracy would've been hailed as thriving in Nigeria had the judgments in question gone against the ruling APC; let all be aware that the law isn't based on emotions.

David Lyon won an election but his running mate ran foul of the law & their electoral victory was canceled outrightly & handed to PDP.

APC won Zamfara then but due to internal wranglings, the court nullified the party's victory in that state's election (all positions won by the party was nullified - from governorship to national and state house of assembly) & handed victory to PDP (Bello Matawalle then before he defected to APC).

In Rivers State, since 2015 elections I think, the APC has always had the courts delivering judgment against its candidates, specifically barring the party from sponsoring any candidate for the elections then some very few days to the polls, the order will be vacated.

The only isolated case was Hope Uzodinma in Imo State, who got his first term at the detriment of PDP via the courts. Other than that, the ruling party has also been victim of devastating court judgments.

In all these aforementioned instances, the party licked its wounds & forged ahead & democracy wasn't in danger.

PDP ought to have known especially in Plateau State that it was holding onto straws; matter of fact, all positions won by the party in the last general elections ought to be declared invalid & the runner up declared winner for all those positions.

If the judiciary isn't living up to expectations because of conflicting judgments (especially against PDP), the foundation for the rot was laid by the same PDP when they held sway at the federal level. APC simply borrowed a page from their playbook only this time, they're unfortunate to be at the mercy of a very tactful & sly politician in the person of Bola Tinubu.
