People with unregistered businesses have gotten PPR. Just provide references letter, add bank statements to show payments or cheque payments. If it was paid in cash the VO may ask for more documents. I remember one PNP applicant that claimed to work in a farm. When the VO checked the address on google maps. There was no farm visible from the satellite view .

there are bank accounts for small enterprises. Microfinance and some commercial banks offer this service. CAC registration is not required .

Registering the business now does not validate the 2 to 3 years experience one is claiming. It can also be interpreted as the business just starting operations when you registered . Then the experience dating 2 to 3 years is invalid.

Also, my friend and her husband are yet to have a child. Family of 3 please. All children (biological or adopted) must be accounted for, if not, theyd be joking with misrepresentation ban.

The cons - you can be sent back at point of entry if discovered ( happened to a Nigerian couple around 2019 or 2020- the pregnant dependant was asked if it was their first pregnancy she said no, but first with her husband- they were sent back to Nigeria and had to add the child to their application ).

The child cannot be sponsored by the parent to Canada as the child wasn’t declared.

I'll advise you call IRCC. You can download the Fongo app, get a Canadian number and call them.

Or did you send with DHL to Kenya and paid VSF to send it back to you?

That's his child whether accompanying or not. You have to provide your full history. They want to know every single thing about you that there is to know.

Read page 1. It's not a problem to use 100% gift deed. Just make sure to have your base covered. The idea is that the 100% gift deed must now be completely yours and not a loan you have to pay back.

To send your passport to Kenya, here are the steps I followed.


1. Passport request letter
2. 2x Photo Passport
3. International passport
4. CVAC form
5. Receipt of transmission fee payment.
6. DHL Return label
7. Eye and height chart
8.(optional) two photocopies of passport data page with email address and phone number.


You need the 7 documents above

Step 1: print out PPR letter, consent form (CVAC) and eye & height chart.

Step 2: make a passport according to the specifications (it’s on your PPR letter, also try to look fresh, I heard that picture will be used everywhere for a long time)

Step 3: Pay and get Kenya VFS transmission receipt. (It costs 32k now, but dollar rate might say otherwise). You can reach out for the contact i used, as I cannot just put the contact here.

Step 4: Have a DHL 'to and return' waybill documents (it costs 78k normally, it might cost more currently). You can reach out for the contact i used as well.

Step 5: put all documents asides the DHL Lagos-Nairobi waybill inside an envelope

Step 6: go submit the documents at any official DHL office close to you. ( they’ll ask for the DHL waybill document (Lagos-Kenya)

Step 7: buy coke and 3 puff puff, you deserve to spoil yourself.

I applied after PPR but before submitting my passport to Canada. Got the visa and then submitted passport to IRCC for COPR/stamping. Two months after getting passport back from IRCC I headed to detroit and had no issues.

Four months later I headed to Chicago and the US CBP officer asked me to follow her to a room and I was grilled lol. They wanted to verify when I became a PR because on my DS 160 I filled that I was not a PR.

It was actually at Toronto. US govt have CBP officers stationed at Toronto Pearson airport and some other airports in Canada. Thus after going through immigration at Toronto the flights arrive at domestic terminals in USA

Several people have said it already but it bears repeating...they are a family of 3. Provide POF for the 3 (this may be what's causing the confusion). Why must they provide POF for someone who isn't going to Canada? The child does not have to be travelling with the new couple to be added to the application, that's exactly what non-accompanying means!

Not stating a child you have or a child your spouse/common law partner has (whether out of wedlock, inside wedlock, in between "wedlocks", with you, with a previous partner etc ) would be misrepresentation, I think.
