Good evening, all. Please, is it true that if the main applicant applies alone, the rest of the family will have to wait for the main applicant to arrive in Canada before they can apply? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 6:25pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
Kenny4real68: Sorry about the refusal Kenny. My thoughts on this are that the VO did not see sufficient proof of the sources of fund- From your write up, your uncle contributed about 75% of the funds and it seems his sources of fund is the company for which you provided registration docs; however, registration docs shows ownership, it does not show how FUNDS are made by the company and it is also difficult to use a company (Not impossible) to prove sponsorship because their(VO) own understanding of company accounts is quite different from ours. Whilst you have shown the availability of the funds, the VO felt that the documents you provided, did not show HOW the funds were raised. If you provided such documents then the VO did not review them. You also did not state how you raised the funds in your own account apart from the funds sent to you by your uncle. - You need to show how the company makes its money and when they say they will sponsor you, how much of their funds will they be providing for you in relation to the cashflow of the company.- via invoices, receipts, financial statements - You need to show how the funds in your account were raised as well - via salaries, gifts, assets sales. You also need to apply for your notes to get the details before reapplying. |

desi10mi: No, you can apply for the family before arriving in CAD. If you are able to show sufficient and available POF for them, you can apply. |

Bobomaigida: No particular reason at all, I didn't want the files to be too much, cause of the size, the opening and closing balance are high with lot of flow and explanation, it is just that I uploaded just 3months. Would it be an issue |

Rapujoshua:That is handicap May suspect you withdrew the funds @4month |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 8:30pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
Predator188:Wot is your meaning handicap and withdrawing funds at 4th month. 3 months statement is OK excepte requested by the VO to back date for citing purpose. Btw 3 months is the official date for any embassy. 6 months could be in areas one is trying to explain previous expenses or income. What they are most concern is ur bal. Which they reconfirm by request for updated bank statement r calling your financial institution to confirm ur balance which was presented on there portal. Banks work along side with embassy and if ur case file is been attended, your bank must report back with ur balance so as to comply with the immigration process on there own part in other to safeguard there integrity 😀 |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by mfonox: 8:38pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
Rapujoshua: I’ve read someone here that said they used 2 months bank statement and got approved. Although 4 months and above is ideal. But there’s nothing u can do at this point. Just pray u are assigned a VO that is lenient or isn’t too thorough. Sometimes when u feel u haven’t done things right. You’ll get approved and some people think they have done everything right and they get denied….just leave it in God’s hands and hope for the best. No point crying over spilled milk. Ps. It’s better to have 3 months of good, well explained bank statement than 6 months of nonsense 😊 4 Likes |

Good Day Everyone, For a total of N28mil Tuition fee & Living Expenses for Study (1yr & 6Mnths), if sponsors company’s account totals N30mil Account statement over the past 3 years , does it prove financial sufficiency in VOs Eyes |

Please passport has been returned, yet to pick it up though. But the problem is that GCKey account was not updated, no counterfoil number and no Letter of Introduction. Has anybody experienced this? What did you do to get Letter of Introduction? 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by mfonox: 9:15pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
samefiok: You mean the sponsor is using 28m out of his 30m in his company account to sponsor you? I’m sure the sponsor has his own life to live/ his own expenses to make. Plus it’s a company account. Not even his personal account. Definitely insufficient funds |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by samefiok(m): 9:28pm On Nov 20, 2023 |
mfonox: No bro, what I mean is 28Mil for my school is totally separate and the other 30mil I speak of is accumulated bank balance in form of unit deposits(150k Daily,750k Monthly) over few years so 28+30 is what I mean , not 28 out of 30 but 28 + 30 |

Hello guys, Recently, the province of Quebec has been changing many rules regarding the use of the French language and tuition for non-French speakers, so if you are coming to Quebec anytime soon, please do your research. i.e. your tuition is likely to go up next year. In my opinion, consider PR while applying for school; some province has a particular program for graduates, making it more accessible for you to get PR without job experience. e.g. PEI, NB, etc. If you are new to Montreal, please feel free to reach out too. good luck 1 Like |
