It all stated when this order was given and our pastor traveled to Abuja and while in Abuja, he saw a political party campaigning for their candidate and with the candidate picture on their uniforms and they were jumping and dancing in process of the campaign.

By so doing our pastor looking carefully ad thought, "if this people can campaign for mortal men that would die and decay in the grave and be forgotten how much if we members of the lords chosen can put on apron for the kings of kings, Jesus christ our savior who lives forever and we ressurectbus in the last day.

That was the whole inspiration started and we started implemented it and today, it has become part of us.

Of recent, I have seen some churches putting on apron to advertise their programmes. You can't fight God's wisdom and make it foolish, at the end you will bend to it whether you like it or not.

Oops! Same thing happened to me back then in the year when I joined nairaland.

What you have to do is to go to the homepage by clicking on the 'NAIRALAND FORUM', then look for 'politics' (base on the subject of your topic) and click on it, after which look down a bit and click on 'create new topic", from there you can post your topic.

Who is more popular than God? what the churches advertise is the churches program and not God. And if all the churches do it, It still does not make it right because a lot of the members now idolize the aprons and believe it has miraculous powers. That is not the essence of saving faith in Christ Jesus.
Please lets focus on what's important as Christians which is seeking to live a life that is free from sin and displays the character of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ that is the easiest way to draw people to God for they will see His light in you.

I guess it's redeem church you are referring to,
Let it be known to you that redeem church has used it before in 1998 to advertise a program tagged lekki 98, they used every ways to advertise including wearing apron and after the program they don't make it a daily wear, so don't think it was copied from chosen.
As redeem church is using it this year to advertise coming program at redemption camp from 4th to 10th December, they might not used it for the next program .

Point of correction, I never called any church "copy cat", you said it with your mouth. The point I am making is some of them mocked us from the start and did everything to shame and discourage us from doing it but yet we stuck to our guns because it was divinely orchestrated. So, it is good for us to always seek God's guidance before jumping into conclusion. Everyone is learning gradually now that you can't distort God's divine initiation.
