From the generic correspondence letter you shared
1. This could suggest that you did not make it apparent in your information that you intended to study in Canada temporarily.
2. The account statement you submitted was that of your sponsor; try to be a co-sponsor and cover up your asset
3. The VO saw that your ties in the USA outweigh those in Nigeria, despite your attempts to convince the VO using your job and parents

You can order your GCMS note to get the precise reason for the refusal

This is my 2rd refusal,
First was on financial ground, which was a mistake on my end. When I order GCMS note it was exactly on the error in document I did.

Now I corrected everything used a good detail POF of about 85kUSD account, the account is also a running account. (Sponsored by my cousin in the US, I also proof relationship)
I uploaded my admission letter
Stated I have my parents and family here in Nigeria.
A study leave document from my place of work, stating I will come back to them.
Paid deposit on my tuition fee

What could have been the problem

So sorry about this... What was your time line? when did you apply?

Thanks so much sir. I sincerely appreciate your response šŸ™šŸ™šŸ™

Please how do I know if the cooperative meets the requirements?
It's actually registered.

Frankrobbn1:

Yes, you can definitely use funds in your cooperative account as part of your proof of funds. It's great that you're planning to attach the statement of account from your cooperative account along with your other bank account statements from a commercial bank. Including multiple sources of funds can strengthen your application. Just make sure that the cooperative account meets the requirements set by the immigration authorities. Good luck with your application!

It will end in praise

It can take long, sometimes it doesn't take long. Just order it, the link is in this forum somewhere.

I booked upfront medical yesterday and I didn't put anything there on both because I don't have them.

Just read the terms and conditions and click on continue.
Also check because it could be network issue.

I had to change my network yesterday when I wasn't progressing.

All the best

If I could remember..I thought you stated that you uploaded 3 months bank statement ..despite having previous refusal on financial status..

Your employment did not satisfy them that you are established in country of origin even though you provided leave letter that you will leave canada...they didn't believe you..

Absolutely yes!. Submitting a reference letter from an unregistered organization can be a problem. It could be seen as a fraudulent document and might jeopardize your application. It's important to make sure all your documents are legitimate and meet the requirements. Better to be safe than sorry!

Thanks Frankrobbn1,

Its actually a welding biz...most of them don't register their business. Ive decided to forget the work experience...i was thinking maybe I will just attach my apprenticeship agreement and pictures of me welding in the shop.

Pls what do you think I should do? My course is welding and fabrication. I have a registered company, I intend to open a branch of welding under my brand after studies.

Pls what do you suggest?

Canada is not US and having a Canadian visa doesnā€™t give you access to US.Hence why I ponder on it. Because having the visa of one doesnā€™t guarantee you of the other. Same reason a U.S. refusal doesnā€™t mean a Canadian refusal.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 11:10pm On Nov 21, 2023
Your quote might be right; failure to declare a US visa refusal can cause a Canadian visa refusal, of which I am sure you are aware. The VO might look at his outland ties to judge. It won't be logical for the VO to state that in the correspondence letter, although it is generic since the applicant didn't say he has family in Canada but in the US. A lot of things happen duration application, which is why we share experiences on this platform so everyone can learn

I am glad we are aligning.
I agree with your no.2 point in ur response to him. He needs to co-sponsor. His cousin and not his brother or sister is the one fully sponsoring. No landed property, gift of deed or contribution from any family member in Nigeria. So nothing to establish ties at home through finances. Or any sort of commitment from his people at home. Cousin may seem distant and may even be worse if they have different surnames. How did he establish relationships?

Could you please recommend affordable universities and colleges in Canada for a master's program that do not require IELTS or its equivalent? My academic background is in education. Your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

In my case, I did upfront medicals on the 30th of August, medical officer uploaded my completed result on the 6th of September, I got medical request on the 19th of Sep., medical was passed on the 30th of October.

I believe your case will be resolved soon as your webform is acknowledged.

How do I know when the medical officer uploads my medicals? i have not gotten any correspondence from them since after my upfront medicals.

Can someone help save my life with how to access my student portal . All my research to solve the problem did not work.
Please šŸ™ my good hearted people, help me. Thanks.

Mail the school and tell them your issues. You can request password reset .

That's way too long. I did an upfront medical last Monday with IOM and was sent a copy of the medical result the next day. They also sent the result to IRCC
