I can't just believe a coach has not been paid and running to months, yet as football fans we expect result. It is beyond comprehension. I can't imagine being owed a month salary. It is selfishness to expect great results from them. The NFF must do the needful and we will see the results. People that require to be sacked are Exco members of the NFF.
National Assembly better sort this out
Mismanagement in that glass house for a long time destroying our football

Lol, before nko? Nigeria is just a cash out destination for many foreigners and foreign based Nigerians. They understand that Nigerians celebrate mediocrity and worship anything foreign. It didn't start today. Look at John Fashanu. He rejected playing for Nigeria in his prime but once he retired, he visited the country on numerous occasions looking for Government contracts. grin Mike Edwards of BBN, who spent his whole life in the UK, came to Nigeria, got the fame, sponsorships and then moved back to England. cheesy Simon Ekpa was a nobody in Finland who rode on the IPOB euphoria to make a name for himself. Dude can't even visit his own state. Kemi Adeosun and Ngozi Okonjo used Nigeria to upgrade their international CVs.

Look at what Indians, Lebanese and Chinese are doing in Nigeria. Can they try that nonsense in their home countries? They send most of their profits back home.
TemplarLandry:
cool This lackluster-inexperienced Peseiro just came to use Nigeria to build his CV.

And it serves us right! We the people of Nigeria don't value our own.

And most importantly, the NFF is the real problem.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board member, Nse Essien, has revealed that they would have dismissed Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro if they could afford it. Following a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in a 2026 World Cup qualifier, the team has garnered only two points out of a possible six, including a previous draw with Lesotho. Despite calls from football fans to remove Peseiro, Essien explained in an interview with OJB Sports that complications arise due to the Sports Ministry's responsibility for salaries. As the ministry has not fulfilled this obligation, sacking the coach would mean no compensation payment. Essien emphasized the NFF's lack of satisfaction with the situation, stating they would relieve Peseiro if they had the funds to do so.
