No wonder they don't succeed compared to Indian, Chinese and locals' businesses. How can a business, no matter how small, have no online presence in 2023?

Yes, a lot of them don't take the online presence serious enough. In Brazil, the restaurant owner asked me not to put anything online about them, because they have not gotten the license they needed to have. And other Nigerian businesses were always worried about me filming near their businesses.
