peppo4live: Type something like "Curso de portugues como lingua adicional Instituto federal de Sao Paulo". The course is not only available in Sao Paulo though. You can check for the one in the city you live in. Admission usually starts 3 months before the course start date. I suggest you already start learning Portuguese on an app like DuoLingo before the course begins because the teacher would most likely teach in Portuguese even if they can speak English. However, if you are particular about English, then Sao Paulo has a course called "Portugues como lingua adicional para falantes de ingles." 3 Likes 1 Share |

Good evening everyone. Please treat as urgent. For those who have applied for the Brazil visa for kids, please where did you get the parental authorization form? Also, I need recommendation on health insurance companies. |
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by TadeDetule: 4:59pm On Nov 22, 2023 |
You do not need health insurance as advised. I do not know the first question Anniebam: |

TadeDetule: Thank you, I thought health insurance is one of the documents required for adults. Second question, one of the documents required for minors is a notarized parental authorization form, I saw some online but wanted to reconfirm from someone who has applied before, where do I get the correct authorization form? |

Hello, greetings house. The recent update now is that the brazil embassy doesnt keep your passport anymore after interview, they return it back to you immediately. Can anyone who has done the interview recently share their experience please. |

koreanlord: Same thing happened to me few weeks ago. They returned the intl passport and only kept some documents. I dont know if it is their new procedure or it means automatic rejection. My online tracking is still showing 'under review'. |

Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by untamedd(f): 9:50am On Nov 25, 2023 |
icu4: That is weird. I know they accept original copy of international passport and copy of everything else. Maybe send and email asking for clarification. |
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by untamedd(f): 9:52am On Nov 25, 2023 |
icu4: After interview or after submission? If they give you back your passport without a visa on it after interview, isn’t that refusal? |
Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by icu4: 10:34am On Nov 25, 2023 |
untamedd: Mine was during submission but a colleague of mine submitted via courier and her passport was returned when she went for interview. They kept only a copy of the passport and all other documents. They usually take a couple of weeks to make their decision , thats why im wondering if their procedure has changed. Like you said i will send them a mail to clarify. thanks. |

Re: Giving Birth In Brazil by icu4: 11:28am On Nov 28, 2023 |
koreanlord: No shes not and we submitted separately. The guy barely looked at the documents, he just took the bank statement, employment letter and returned the passport and kept the photocopy. the whole thing is just surprising because previously they take 1month plus to make a decision now its 5 mins. did you get a rejection mail or did your online tracking changed. |
