sboga: What matters is a good buyout offer price that is acceptable to shareholders. It is not by force to be a shareholder in Oando by all means. On the other hand if they continue to list on NGX, the better for shareholders. |

Just checked it today and I have crossed 100% growth. I'm still asking if ETF pay dividends or not Meanwhile, have tried getting Mecure to no avail. Be like that stock get crazy holders |

My prediction on Oando: - No delisting - court seating will come and go next week. No shaking - 2022 result will soon be released and will show improvements on key benchmarks - 1Q, 2Q and 3Q 2023 results will be impressive and will reveal a rebounced, refocused and healthier company - The market will respond positively - The company may be heading to join the 1 trillion naira club - Remember: "thou shall seek Oando, but will not find it" Note: Please do your due diligence. 2 Likes |

sboga: This is the main principle that guides the stock market : FREE ENTRY, FREE EXIT! There is no compulsion or ''by force by fire'' in acquiring or selling stocks. What you see, you take! Oando would not be the first or last stocks to make investors smile or cry! Follow your guts and discretion. Shikena 1 Like |

ProphetUtuocha: Good to see that you still stand firm by your previous posts on Oando in spite the fact that some folks seem to have reservations about you as regards Oando. ''Time'' will settle everything very soon. Everybody means well. |

If not that fake result posted by caverton, By now, we will be talking of #3 stock.I know the result is better than what was posted but I still have my reservations for caverton.Pls if you have caverton, kindly have patience. All I know is #3 to 3.50 is sure before June 2024. Caverton is one of my stock recommendations but may not come quick quick like other recommended ones. 1 Like |

ProphetUtuocha: Amin to the prediction (prophecy) uttered. May the price not go below N12 again. Bye Bye to single digit Naira price. Like Transcorp wey you predict moons ago become 5 bagger 6 bagger today as Transcorp mature small. May Oando deliver multiple baggers too, come add better naira dividend join as him mature small. May Oando resume dividend payments next year as him mature small. Amin. |

Those with IB kindly have patience.Even with the big loss of the company, the stock will still deliver 100% at due time. Just keep your eyes on Nigerian Breweries. When NB gbe body, start thinking of IB too. This is how I see IB for now |

I don’t think caverton is doing well business wise. There is so much inefficiency in their chopper line. They are unable to meet up with demand. This has a likelihood of affecting their future contract. A layman’s opinion. 1 Like |

Big thank you @customstreet. I was able to get 2m units of Unity Bank @ 1.07 on Thursday due to your call last week. I sold this morning @185k. Amount invested - N2,140,000. Amount realized - N3,700,000. Amount Gain after deducting charges - N1,500,000 after just one week I have to sell now because I am a slender person and I don’t have the strength to struggle when the exit door is so narrow . 17 Likes |

delvzy: I don't have NGX ETF in my portolio,The reason is i am at the mercy of NGXgroup adjusting stocks meeting certain market capitalisation to be on the benchmark of a portolio like NSE30 . I will rather choose when to sell all my position at my discretion. Over time my portfolio is like an index fund tailored to my conviction. Suggestion to a newbie is figure out what your goal is viz: capital appreciation, steady dividend, etc . Tailor your goal around your circumstance. Everyone in the market is after capital appreciation and profit sharing from their respective investment. I. ETFs that pay distribution - Stanbic ETF30 be mindful of the fees (expense ratio) attached to investing with them though. II. Mutual funds - higher fees compared to ETF which may cut into your profit margin over time but that is the price you pay for having the financial house manage your funds for you. There are bunch of products by different financial houses i.e stanbic, united capital, etc if you have any particular one in mind, ask, someone here will be able to answer based on experience (personal or vicarious) III. One suggestion to start with use the NSE30 as a guide in building your portfolio. Split your fund to 60:40 or 70:30 as you may deem fit to stable and consistently paying dividend companies : growth companies. I will go as far as splitting the dividend companies into monthly brackets so you know over time you have bucket of dividend almost all year round except for january if PZ ends up delisting. While 30% you use as dry powder sitting in a money maerket fund or use to buy shares of growth companies as you deem fit based on conversation here and you doing your due diligence. there's more to be said, but can only say based on questionasked.
