....of course I know, that's why he was nicknamed Baba Afusa. He completed MKO Abiola Road from Olaiya Junction to Kọbọ. He also started and completed Onababa Ona with bridges. He reconstruted Alekuwodo road, workers drive road all in Osogbo.

Do I need to mention Bisi Akande Trumpet Bridge? Or Gbongan to Ode-Omu Expressway?! I don't want to mention modern schools he built across LGs as well as well equipped Ambulance Station Points for free emergency services.

He renovated Osogbo Township Stadium and Health Centres across LGs. He introduced O-Programmes - Oyes, O'Meal, O'HIS and so on

What I dislike mostly about him is; he swallowed more than he could chew hence throw the State in big Mess.......debt too full ground.

The man was unfortunately too optimistic. He ran full speed ahead into multiple infrastructure projects while running a state on a budget limited to fg allocation.

Once the fg allocation was eroded, everything was instantly fked

Which leads to the other important question - what is the value add of the infrastructure in a civil service state?

Though that is the eternal chicken and egg question

Will good infrastructure bring investors, or will investors lead to spend on infrastructure?

This one na village people symptom, or perhaps the guy is mentally unstable. Or maybe he was already radicalised before travelling.
One reason i am yet to enroll my kids in Islamic School to learn Quran, is my fear of them been radicalised by most of the sadistic Alfa's we have now.
I respect Islamic Clerics like Alhaji Muhideen Bello because he always preaches peace and love, and tell Muslim to respect other people's religious believes.

Which Eba and Ogbono, meat no dey inside? How long meat dey take to boil?

My Ghanaian flatmates then, once they return from work or uni, pour water in pot, throw two eggs inside, go and shower, come back in 10 mins and eat rice & shitto with egg.

Even Eba and Ogbono, you will be standing over stove actively watching everything like monitoring spirit

You will be slaving for an hour plus as a Nigerian to cook anything palatable, meanwhile they are already using time productively on other ventures

Name one Nigerian meal you can cook from scratch in 30 mins, and no be indomie

Fast food is sign of a productive society that values time. How come when you go to Chinese restaurant and order food with serious spices, vegetables and noodles, it is always ready in 10 mins?

English eat everything with gravy. Do you know it takes one minute to make gravy? Just boil water and mix in the gravy granules

.....Brother, don't ever enrol your kid(s) at local madrasah. Its better you enrol them at standard Muslim Schools where they can learn both western education and Islamic education.

There is a standard Islamic School in Offa, boarding house School, but their tuition fee is above 1m. Your kids will be able to memorize Qur'an before they finish there.

How long does it take you to prepare Eba and ogbono from scratch

How long does it take you to clean up afterwards.

That is what Ibime is referring to

Say I am working on a deadline and I throw together a bread and egg sandwich. I can do this in five minutes. Just buy bread and egg.

To cook Eba and ogbono you have to have already prepared the soup. If not that is plus 30 minutes. Even if it is frozen, that is like 10 - 15 minutes for thawing.

Then you boil your water and make your Eba. To clean/wash the pot after is another 20 mins. Same for ogbono soup.

That is what Ibime is referring to. We may not experience this as Nigerians because we have cheap labor (housemaids). Once you are in obodo oyibo (no housemaid) you will see the impact of food on your free time, though you may have kitchen appliances - microwave, dishwasher etc

Any staple food takes time now whether it's ghana food or Nigerian food.

It's abnormal to eat raw pepper that is not cooked. Even the shito u are talking about took time to be prepared before they stored it for future use.

Tapioca just needs u to put the stuff in boiling water, turn it and it's ready.

You can cook/fry yam while u are in the shower/getting dressed and then fry the egg almost immediately. It does not require any serious monitoring

Shitto is mass produced, nobody makes that at home. And it lasts for weeks without refrigeration sef

To cut yam is mission, even making eggs requires cutting onions, peppers and things.

Ghanaians have hacked fast food with this shitto

Yeah I know it's mass produced. Chicken republic sell it at their outlets here in Nigeria.

And yes, some people produce it in their homes too. Ghanaians and Togolese resident in Nigeria make theirs in the comfort of their kitchen

It's something you can add to any rice, yam or carbs and eat straightaway. It's like a stew but with less tomatoes and more crayfish and fish. It makes sense. Ghanaians all have it at home, most times they don't bother making stew. Shitto, rice and boiled egg is their main go to. Two teaspoon of this will flavour a whole plate of white rice.
