She didn't register my deposit to start with.. Secondly this morning i was with a lawyer about this issue and the woman came to the house and start moving my properties outside and the lawyer instructed me to call police immediately which I did.. They started CAD and ask me to start coming back home that police is coming. Only for me to get a call few minutes later that the police won't be coming again as this is a civill matter & dispute with my landlord. Am still trying to get hold of a legal person who know how to handle this sort of things. Yesterday I told the landlord to fix the door and give me the keys and I will pay her. And this woman declined and said am a stupid person and who do i think I am. The lawyer also instructed me to call shelter emergency number and report this. Ralphlauren: |

Thewritingnerd: Regardless, we still have to say the right thing. For her to post it here meant that she had some element of doubt/fear. But with the update, I want to believe she defeated her doubt/fear and advanced. Otilo! |

Bro am not sure you understand. Even yesterday i told her to come and fix my door and give me the house keys that I will pay her once did is done. And this woman in front of me told me that am stupid and who do I think I am to tell her that.. The police just don't want to get involved but they are asking me to find a way to involve them if she break any criminal laws then that's where they can start to build up a case against her. UniqueDext: Bros, you'd have to leave the alpha male orientation and call the police telling them you feel threatened and also she is using abusive words with actions and shivering. |

UniqueDext: Why haven't you paid her? Your initial post noted a few days late and till date you are yet to pay her! You have established how horrible she is, but I'd suggest you just pay her and see how things progress. Was she this horrible before or after you delayed on your rent? Two wrongs can never make a right!!! 1 Like |

I already told her to fix my door and i will send her the money but she refused. Please who know how i can go with the deposit scheme report claim please.. I have decided to go ahead and pay her, but I will pursue the deposit scheme option as it seems like dealing with civil issueslike this is kinda complicated. toughest007: |

Seniors in the building, I greet una. I recently got an interview invite for a civil service role (EO, Finance officer). For those who have had the experience, what should I expect? What areas am I going to be accessed on? What are the likely questions? I will appreciate your inputs please. Thanks |

In as much as I do not want to accept that myself and family migrating to the UK made us poorer. Our savings and bank account clearly indicates that we are. We are a family of 4 who moved here as skilled workers. All we have been doing is paying visa and ilr fees. Sadly, after all these all you keep hearing in the news is how immigrants have come to take their missing pie. There you have me thinking, hang on you are clearly broke and we have come to help. We are just counting down to naturalisation and another japa. Average Uk household expected to be poorer by £1900 by 2025. hustla:

hustla: Thanks for your advice. I really appreciate this. However, I am surprised that more than 2 week after my arrival, the BRP is not out yet. Have been waiting for the email endlessly. Is that how slow the system is or am I being so much in a hurry? I need to start work. I need to start my life here... Looks as if I'm stagnant here. |

Seniors in the house please I need an advice. I was planning to get a mortgage next year. But the recent policies they are about to make is kinda scary. Skilled workers will not be allowed to come in with partners. Citizens has to start working, no more benefits etc. Let me not bore you. So my plan is getting a mortgage, rent it out and move to the USA. Can that work? Is it reasonable? 1 Like |

toughest007: That was my initial question when he first made the complaint. You owed your LL rent and had the guts to sublet. Coming here to play the victim card. Sickening. The worse is that other people here didn't condemn him. Total BS!! Until your house owner's mortgage gets repossessed. No one is seeing the anger of the house owner. |

Madeu: There are always two sides to any story/situation/quarrel... That rent, I want to believe, goes towards mortage payment, and like you said, that LL may be seriously chased up and under pressure! I asked him if his LL was this terrible before or after he owed her rent, he surgically shyed away from answering that question. My perception of his story isn't adding up. |
