The Alaigbo Youth Forum has planned to host an Alaigbo Youth Summit in December, but the list of panellists at the event has caused controversy. Some people have objected to the presence of APC supporters at the event. They claim that these APC supporters denigrated Igbos.

Miss Chidimma Makuachukwu (Ada Anambra) is an APC supporter that was invited to speak at the event. She is the National Program Manager of the Renewed Hope Shelter for the Poor, Refugees and IDPs. Some people objected to her presence at the event and the organisers were forced to withdraw the invitation that was extended to her.

Blessing Onwumere is a former student union activist and PDP politician. She is also a supporter of Governor Hope Uzodimma. Some people have also objected to her presence at the event.

Ada Anambra wrote this after her invitation was withdrawn.

I'm a proud Igbo young Lady who loves her region and desires the best for her people which many have witnessed.

All I have done and will continue to do is to reject what is wrong.

I might be objective and raw with my opinions but that doesn’t mean I denigrate my people; I can never.

Rinu was made a member of Lagos state Endsars panel despite are toxic campaign against the Lagos state government. PDP and APC are members of the DAWN commission for south west development. Akin Osuntokun, Akin Tollgate, Doyin Okupe, Olusegun Obasanjo and others that supported Peter Obi have never been ostracized from any Yoruba function.

We are sensible and pragmatic people in the south west. We understand the need for people’s political choices to be respected in a democracy. We don’t listen to just one opinion, we listen to multiple opinion.

But The same APC in Imo state won the recently conducted gubernatorial election. For the first time in recent years, the APC won the entire 27 lga's in Imo state
