Pls be sincere can Taye Taiwo bench Elderson Echiejele during the period….we need to ask ourselves why players who can’t cut it always making bribery allegations…..pls did Keshi asked Taye for bribe or what cus me I no Dey understand something o
I agree because it was around this time that Taiye started to loose form but Taiye saying he’ll sack Keshi doesn’t make sense he doesn’t have that power

Egbon 4 out of the 5 names you mentioned had already been part of the team for years and we all know how Keshi influenced the invitation of Emenalo in place of Ugbade.

So egbon are you saying that because Westerhof did it that makes it right?

On Ike Uche issue I would have found a way to reconcile with the team's best striker before the WC. The fact that they were able to put aside their differences for the AFCON qualifiers shows it wasn't impossible.

Keshi was a patriot, a great player and coach for the SE but he wasn't a saint and we shouldn't stop people from also pointing his own flaws.

Reconcile with a player that insists he will not play to your tactics.

That is what separates Keshi from loads of coaches. He will go and pick a name from China and he will surprise many.

Bringing Uche back to the team was even one of the biggest mistakes of Keshi.

I don't believe Okpala lied because such an accusation should have drawn a heavy response and denial from Taiwo.

When Taiwo made a false allegation, Okpala was quick to thrash it. And Taiwo kept mute.

If Taiwo had pushed further, hotel room numbers and CCTV will do the exposure.

Finito.

That does not stop people like me from busting myths and lies due to people not taking time to understand Keshi.

A bribery allegation is heavy and one must have his fact before going to press.According to elyte,Taye Taiwo lawyer was aware of the bribery allegation and layman like me believes the lawyer should go to court.

Yeah one of the biggest 'mistakes' scored one of the crucial 2 goals against Congo for the 2015 AFCON Qualifier. Go figure.

It depends on whether you believe the claim made by Stephen Keshi's Assistant.

@TheGoodJoe can you help confirm to these folks that Taye Taiwo wielded that much influence with the NFF?

People only make these allegations when they fall out of favour with the Manager.

None of the regulars during Keshi's era ever came out to make such a claim, unless you are insinuating that such claims do not exist because they were also complicit in greasing the handlers' palms. In this case, the implication will be that players like Enyeama, Sone Aluko, Mikel, V. Moses, Musa etc only got on the team because they were complicit in paying the coach
