That is the problem. He himself needs to check himself or else this thing will repeat itself with the next girl. His wife is not blameless but women don’t respect boy-boy men especially if you don’t have a plan.

I think you are right that she probably didn’t know what she was getting into and the money/flame temporarily blinded her but after a while it gets boring and reality sets in.
