Israel tightens military censorship of the press, amid narrative failures

The Cradle reported this week that the Israeli Military Censor has deleted details from Israeli media that Israeli helicopter and tank fire has killed Israeli citizens on 7 ⁠Oct.

⬥ Haaretz has removed the admission from its 18 ⁠Nov article that Apache helicopters targeted the Nova music festival. (364 Israelis were killed according to the police)
⬥ Kan Radio has removed the 15 ⁠Oct interview of Israeli woman Yasmin Porat. She was among the first to say that Israeli civilians were “undoubtedly” killed by Israeli forces in Be’eri. (watch with translation)

According to data obtained by the 972 ⁠Magazine, the Israeli military partially censored 990 and entirely blocked 159 articles in 2022.

It is possible Israel killed hundreds of Israeli citizens on 7 ⁠Oct, just like it mistakenly counted as Israelis until 8 ⁠Nov some 200 Palestinian bodies burned beyond recognition. Hamas didn't bake them in ovens...

On 23 Nov, Minister Shlomo Karhi wrote to Cabinet Secretary Yossi Fuchs, telling that Haaretz has “taken an offensive line that undermines the war's goals and disparages the military effort and societal resilience”, and is “sabotaging Israel in wartime”. (Mediaite, Haaretz). The minister threatens prosecution under sections of the penal code and financial penalties.

Good morning…

We enter the fourth day of the ceasefire. Israel has already received the list of names to be released today.

It is likely the ceasefire will be extended. Hamas is asking for this, and Israel is ready to do so in exchange for at least 10 additional released hostages every day.

Initial unconfirmed reports in Israel are that Jerusalem agrees, so long as Hamas releases at least 10 hostages every day.

Israel is trying to achieve through the back door, what it could not achieve in the battle field.
Israel is the one telling the US and Qatar to put pressure on Hamas for more hostages. They in return are asking for ceasefire so aid can be distributed to civilians.

Two days ago, Hamas threatened to stop the prisoner swap deal, Israel went berserk (lol) threatening brimstone and fire if the deal was stopped.

Can Hamas threaten to stop the deal if they are "begging" for ceasefire?
Israel was foaming in the mouth when Hamas threatened the deal because they know how much lobbying and begging they did to arrive at this point.

It’s being reported that yesterday the Israeli hostages were handed over to the Red Cross in the eastern half of Gaza City, just a mile or so from where IDF forces are deployed and operating in northern Gaza.

Israeli ground forces have not yet entered that part of Gaza City, but will soon.
Hamas is desperate to end the war before that happens.

Are more hostages located there?

There was concern due to the fact that the list was received yesterday, but none of the families of those scheduled for release have yet been informed.

Speculation in the Israeli media:

Hamas gave a list of hostages slated for release in which families are split up. In other words, children without their mothers.

Hamas claims it can't find some of the mothers, but it's more likely this is a tactic to force Israel to accept a longer ceasefire if it wants to see these families reunited.

Alma Avraham, 84, who was released yesterday from Hamas captivity, is still fighting for her life at Soroka Hospital in southern Israel.

The head of the trauma unit at Soroka said that if Alma's release had been scheduled for just one day later, she wouldn't have made it.

Ron Krivoi, the Israeli with Russian citizenship who was released yesterday thanks to pressure from Putin, says he actually managed to temporarily escape Hamas captivity at one point.

The building where he was being held was bombed, and Ron managed to get out. He was on the run in Gaza for four days, trying desperately to get back to Israeli territory.

But, according to the Channel 12 report, he was eventually apprehended by Gaza civilians, who promptly returned him to Hamas terrorists.

Roni Kariboy, who was released from Hamas captivity, told his aunt that he was kept inside a building which during the war was bombed by the IDF.

He managed to escape from there. He tried to reach the border, but because he didn't have the means to understand where he was and where to escape - he got into trouble in the field.

He was there alone for 4 days, hiding and at the end the Gazans caught him and returned him to the hands of the terrorists.

Innocent civilians?

The Houthis are losing yet more ability, after failing to hit Israel:
The US military released the tanker “Central Park” owned by Zodiac Maritime of the Israeli businessman Eyal Ofer, which was seized and confiscated by the Houthis, near the coast of Aden in Yemen.

In response, the Houthis launched two ballistic missiles at the American warship USS Mason, which assisted in the rescue of the tanker “Central Park” yesterday. Both missiles fell into the sea, and there were no casualties or damage.

So another Iranian proxy turns out to be nothing?

This situation is far from Israel's doings.
It echoes the coup-style tactics that enabled Hamas to dominate Gaza.

Here, the Palestinian ambassador in Montenegro is calling on local police to detain and expel his own deputy. Now labeled as 'forced displacement' by the deputy, it begs the question: Why not opt for straightforward dialogue?


It's absurd that they can't manage an embassy without internal fighting, resorting to involving foreign police to handle their disputes, yet they aspire to run a country.

The hostages are just about a mile from where the idf has been operating in northern Gaza where the idiots claimed they have surrounded and CUT OFF!

Elon Musk landed in Israel a short time ago and toured the devastated Gaza periphery communities with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

His first tweet since landing: "Actions speak louder than words."

The Palestinians and their supporters speak endlessly of a "just peace," but the actions of October 7 were the opposite of peace.

Musk will hold meetings with several Israeli leaders. Reportedly, he will only provide internet access to Gaza with his Starlink satellite network if Israel approves it.
