If Google Pixel could easily be rooted or tweaked like Xiaomi, Or if they were built anyhow like Transsion phones, here would be active with discussion or complaints 😀. I call Pixel 'Android with IOS features' lol

My friend who is on WWU pixel 6 pro did the Nov 1st own,

there's a new security patch that blocks out the netguard apk. And overides the device setup in system apps... Still researching on a bypass... They're blocking bypass but they're not even giving room to third party full unlock service like apple and Samsung.

You are right,
Phone was built to be smooth out of the box,
Thou you can easily root it,but most people find no reasons for it,people root majorly to debloat and have smoother os,which is what the pixel os is.
