These governors are just taking people for fool. This one is just talking like illiterate about something he could not do 5% of it in entire 8 years. Eradicate states and deals directly with local governments that is very close to people. States governments is a mere waste of resources, this is where Nigeria is getting it wrong. The crooks may not do a single project in 1 year withiout anyone knowing or questioning them. Local governments are very close to the people, the administrators are mostly emerged from the same locality, people knows them in and out. Ordinary people, landlords associations, professors, trade unions, and many other local organisations can easily go there and demand for their right. Give this billions to local governments and see accelerated development within six months. Eradicate states now before they send us back to stone age. 81 Likes 10 Shares |

Well if he is serious, the way to do it is to 1.tax everyone...ie tax everyone 2. Get mines regularized in the state, and get the government to pay derivation like they do for oil. (Kogi got lots of iron ore) 3.Get the security up and working. 4.Spend more on vocational and technical education so that there would be industrial workers for the investors to make use of. 1 Like |

I have passed through kogi several times on my way to abuja. One thing always strikes me and that is the abundance of Natural resources in the state but then I get more confused when I put it side by side the level of poverty and backwardness in that state. What is really wrong with kogi people that you see them rejoicing over people that have enslaved them for so long 7 Likes 2 Shares |
