How many parts of Nigeria have you lived, you are just quick to attribute things to Yorubas just so the name can remain in your mouth. Have you read other comments to see people mention Rivers, Benin, Delta, even in the Northern parts of Nogeria, this thing happens everywhere.
You were born in Lagos, have benefited one or 2 thi gs from Lagos, yet are quick to paint the land and her people bad. That's absurd and a very bad thing to do. Unless you have been, lived in other part, don't ascribe certain things to tribe. It will amaze you to know that Nigerians despite their diversity still act in same way in most cases. The only part of Nogeria I have not bn to, is East, but every other parts, I have lived or visited for one thing or the other. I am Lagosian, lived in the North, SS, NC, bn to over 19 States in Nigeria, and in the past 10 years, bn traveling few countries within and outside Africa.

This act was prominent in Lagos growing up, almost every street would be blocked on weekends, but it has since reduced drastically and you know it. And more so, those streets blocking were not done by the yorubas alone, but by every tribe that has lived in Lagos, and held party in Lagos, until recently when they started using schools, fields, and halls.
