Choiceguy:Abeg go sell sharp sharp make people wey remain know themselves... Funny how you think something of 2021 will still be prevalent in 2023 or even 2024......and funny how you think the remaining minority shareholders will agree to 7.07 with the level of inflation from 2021 till date... Read the OANDO FAQ very well and try to put two dots together.... Part of the excerpt reads that "if the remaining minority shareholders agree to it". Now tell me how the remaining shareholders will agree to 7.07 when the market value as at yesterday is reading 11+.......and more importantly, when majority of them bought above 20 self... 2 Likes |

yMcy56:This is a new angle to me.This could be an isolation case if truely it is not wale behind the delisting. Why are they asking for average of price within 3 months instead of highest market price within three months which I think is the standard. What are we really missing in the whole thing |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 10:05am On Nov 29, 2023 |
yMcy56: Oando has a risk - reward profile that is very attractive to risk taking bargain hunters. I guess this is one of the reasons the trade volumes has been high this year especially in the last 3 months thereabouts. Should the price drop below N11 I will look for a stock to sell so that I can buy more Oando. 1 Like |

Streetinvestor2:Now I see someone thinking along my path too...... Something is really missing in the whole story......especially with these 14 minority shareholders..... Wale didn not have plan to delist from the whole story... There's some kind of mind game going on, which, if remaining minority investors are not careful, they'll end up playing into Wale's hands. * Besides, which kind judgement the judges dey judge self since 2021, if not that something is fishy there? |

BabsO2: Since the last AGM approved the Auditors for 2022 & 2023, the 2022 may come late. Perhaps in Q1 next year. Or 2022 & 2023 may come out together in 2024 Q1 or latest Q2. 1 Like |

Locotrader: Different people have different target prices for it on the sell and buy side. Overall the market price trend seem to be creeping up small small. Perhaps till a major pronouncement is made. It will be nice to know if those linked to management are secretly mopping it up. |

Good day my Bosses in the house, I have a friend with a pending issue and he is stuck without knowing how to proceed. So he has shares on NASD with meristem stockbrokers, he wants to sell, for the past three weeks meristem hasn't gone through with the order claiming it is an issue with CSCS. Is there anything he can do or he should just wait it out till they execute the order.. Thanks for your prompt response |

Mpeace: My response is neither fundamental, technical, or even sentimental analysis. I call this situation analysis. How right or wrong it is will only be proven by time as no one knows exactly what is going on with Oando. If this link is true and the actual status, this is a completely different angle from what has been assumed and debated about Oando all along here. If 14 minority shareholders want to be bought out, and a specific number of shares was stated, that does not mean the entire minority shareholders of Oando are in court. Now I am thinking this isolated case has been deliberately blown out of proportion or misreported for selfish reasons to appear as though it is Oando Vs the entire minority shareholders, just to get the generality of minority shareholders to sell off out of panic including those who bought at N5 to happily sell off at their more than 200% profit so they can keep mopping up to their satisfaction, before letting Oando rise to whatever price it should be. With the court hearing adjourned to as far as February 2024, that further confirms there’s a deliberate attempt to prolong the suspense, uncertainty and fear until they are done buying. The heavy volume traded in the last one year says a lot about how much money is available to keep buying at the moment. The battle for the soul of Oando rages on, as we watch the spectacle. Should this be the real status, holders of Oando who can stay on will hit the jackpot that awaits with their perceived business turn around. 1 Like |

OakPearl: This is a highly informed piece on the possible situation on Oando. If the court case was specifically for 14 minority shareholders, I am still yet to read any specific court order/judgement to that effect. But Wale told the AGM that Oando was forced by SEC to settle some shareholders to the tune of USD600m! Was that settlement sequel to a specific judgement by the court, or purely an out-of-court settlement? And if the 14 minority shareholders are no longer in the picture, then why is the case still being adjourned farther in court and not struck out? Who is still representing the `14 minority shareholders in court? Like I said earlier, this Oando matter is full of some possible shenanigans, manipulations, whims, caprices, sentiments, suspense, dealings etc. 1 Like |

OakPearl: I said i wont comment about Oando again, but when I read stuffs like this I just shake my head. Do you think this people / CEOs give a damn about minority shareholders? Only a few my brother. Ask those that also saw potentials and hope in AIICO then compared to Custodian & AXA. If you have Oando hold and nobody should make you sell. If you make money great and if you don't, its all part of a learning process. 2 Likes 1 Share |
