I heard the Oba fled with his tail between his leg back then which explains why no Benin man can point to their ancestral home in Lagos.

Imagine finding a mega city like Lagos but yet no one can trace Oba of Benin palace or ancestral home or any Benin person for that matter.

It will happen, in Edo and even Ilorin sooner or later. Reason is that according to law as some people claim. Each local governments must have their traditional council.So it is illegal for a king to be presiding over 2, 3, 5, 7 local governments.

And some governors will see it as a challenge to their authority because all the kings are under the governor of a state.
