It is well known I supported Buhari in 2015 and even his unsuccessful attempt in 2011. So what is your point?

What I'm discussing is economics, not any partizan megedefegede.

Lmaooo question is which juju you see wey make a numbers man like you support buhari? What speech did you listen that he showed intelligence that made you support him over GEJ?

Tinubu told you he will float the Naira and end subsidy, as did Peter Obi

Both has happened and you are shocked

When politicians talk, take the one that is meant for you and leave the rest. The speech Tinubu will give the Nigerian Stock exchange is different to the speech he give the pepper sellers in the village. By your level of education, you will know which of the speech to pay attention to

I mean you said this.
So I'm guessing buhari gave a speech that so impressed an intelligent man like you who believes in facts and figures.
So where is that speech?
Or was it pepper seller speech you believed?

I only needed to see GEJ and his Governors loot the Excess Crude Account of $22bln to turn against him as a numbers man

I only needed to see Buhari build 3 refineries in 2 years as Petroleum Minister to give him a chance over GEJ

If you are of a certain age to see the word "PTF" on all your school buses, tractors and roads, you will know why those of a certain age gave Buhari a chance. Ask anyone in their late 30s plus

I don't have to defend my choice of Buhari now, just because he performed woefully. He had enough service record for me to go with him, while Jonathan had none except ruining our savings for the future. And I'm an Ijaw man with Jonathan wife from my hometown.

Same thing responsible for Angola's high inflation. When you work it out, come and tell me. It was dealt with a few pages back.

Which year was Petroleum Trust Fund in operation.

Answer this and you will know whether I'm old enough to have seen Buharis works to have a basis for supporting him over GEJ

I don't need to go far to see Buharis work. His work is right outside my house. Literally across the road from my house in the village. He built 3 of these in 2 years, the same thing we are finding harder than rocket science now, even Dangote.

I had very valid reasons for supporting Buhari in 2011 and 2015, but that is not the crux of this discussion. The crux of this discussion is the cause of inflation. I will hammer APC for everything except that because I follow numbers and materiality.

I don't know nothing about loot, but I know that PTF built 144,000km of road across Nigeria, bought school buses and tractors, desks for all our Federal schools etc that we saw with our eyes. That was 1994 to 1998. Ask anyone in school that period if they know the word PTF.

My decision of who to pick was very rational and based on evidence

Ibime, the facts are clear, I don't know why you're trying to wriggle a way out of this.

You have been a staunch APC supporter for a long time till THIS VERY DAY.

Despite APC fvcking us over this last 8 years, YOU ARE ACTIVELY SUPPORTING TINUBU AND APC AGAIN. Masking it in faux-logical numero-politics to make it appealing.

I'm putting this out there for those who might want to be deceived again by you on our politics.

Ibime has explained why he supported Buhari. Now can you tell us WHY YOU DID? instead of this silly game where you tell most of us what we already know. Any oldie here knows that Ibime supported Buhari in 2015, like a large number of Nigerians at the time.

If you look at those old posts, you see that it wasn't just Buhari, he supported amaechi against Jonathan, he consistently praised oshiomole of APC, fashola and the rest.
So this isn't just a buhari something alone.

This is an inherently pro-apc, anti-pdp bias at play.

I'm not even attacking him, I'm simply highlighting this so that people would know the historical bias he has towards the APC TILL THIS VERY DAY.

We have been going over the same thing the last few pages. Inflation in Nigeria is driven by the value of the Naira which is supported by our oil revenues.

You cannot support Naira with your bare hands, you have to buy it with dollars from your oil revenue.

Buhari even overdid his support of the Naira even when we had no dollars to prop it up. Tinubu is the one showing us the true value now.

Everybody praised fashola at the time. Fasholas performance in lagos was APCs biggest highlight.

Amaechi was celebrated as an action governor until patience Johnathan chased him into apc. Then he suddenly became a hated incompetent governor.

Oshiomole still had the toga of labour and he was not bad or hated as governor of edo.

And GEJ was a complete disaster with scandals every other day. Diamonds Diezani, do the needful Stella odua, n1000 stampede and death, gun running south Africa jet with 15m usd, October 1 bombing and it's mismanagement, mismanagement of boko haram response. People like to say apc made up stories but all apc had to so was allow gej to create his own mess.

We all lived through it. Not the blatant revisionism where people try to pretend gej was some sort of competent or capable president.

And who can forget his completely out of control wife who was almost making herself a pillar of government. Complete with first lady boko haram enquiry. Dia is God ooo!

Which party do Aregbesola and Rochas belong to?

I will favour Amaechi and Fashola because they performed in comparison to their competition. Infact I'm on record as being very pro-Lagos politicians because whether you like it or not, they are planets ahead of other states political systems.

Ibime:

Rochas didn't do well anything

He built some substandard roads and tanked the finances within 2 years, leading to State Govt wage delinquency when it comes to payment of civil servants

Rochas is second only to Aregbe when it comes to financial mismanagement

Abacha no consign me.

Buhari as Petroleum Minister built 3 refineries and as PTF chairman built 144,000 kilometres of road and equipped all our schools with things beyond our imagination, even school buses and tractors.

Now sell GEJ to me in 2015 after having by far the highest revenues in Nigerias history and $22bln savings kept for him which he yammed through in the first year of his tenure. Sell me ONE THING except that Sanusi had enough dollars to keep the Naira stable.
