Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by BabsO2(m): 8:04pm On Nov 30, 2023 |
stcool: Look carefully The exchange rate used for income statement is 582 But that used for statement of financial position is 776 Looked at prior years too I can see they used different translation rates for the income statement and statement of financial position but the gap was not as wide as the rates for this Q3 report. And these are audited reports. Why are they using multiple translation rates Perhaps due to mix of several currencies, the face value report rates come out differently for the various statements. On valuation basis ETI is not that relatively under-valued in comparison to Nigerian banks. It's just in the middle of the pack of valuations of Nigerian banks. 2 Likes 1 Share |

aj8: NNFM target is close. Will offload once it attains N40.00 . A price above N40.00 though possible , will not influence my holding on to the stock. I will only consider re-entry if EPS for Q3 is above N8.00 but will re-enter only if price drops below N25.00. 2 Likes |

Luada: See my guy Lis-ten Cscs account na just formality your broker go open one for you no big deal. Find a good broker say Stanbic or investment one or Greenwich trust to name a few good ones. The learn abt stock fundamentals thru own research various website Dey to help ppl like u dis days find out abt dem and use dem. Some Dey free and Dey are good. Don’t listen to yeye analysis you will find for hia. Not to say all dem dey yeye analysis but many hjiggas dey hia with multiple monikors and dem go suggest rubbish to you so you must learn to ignore d noise if u wan B a real G for the stock market. Etf is also ok but the juice don comot already if I ask me d Greenwich etf has done very well but will it repeat again I can’t say. Anyhow I wan don ETF it’s ok but find out abt their fees before. D real Game na to learn d game yourself. Sure you will lost and it’s imp to lose in dis game. U must lose to win as dem dey say. So start with small. Find out what’s book value , market cap, P/E ratio, EPS, shares outstanding, ROE, current ratio, debt ratio. Then analyse any stock wey you like before buying. Start with using some websites that Dey to help u stand up on your feet enn. Dis place is for gossip never take it seriously. Very very few times dem go share somethin dat u might benefit from. Everyday here in on your own benefit remember dat. Dere are no friends. Dem go chop yo money. Some go even recommend i to buy tantalize fo hia oo shey u know chicken and rice restaurant I Dey tell u. Open eyes and look well. Kai na long ting I don write for yung apprentice. Na kali rooftop wey i dey as I write so I gotta go now. Good luck my guy. I hope u learn d game. 5 Likes |

BabsO2: November finished strong with the index gaining and many portfolios gaining 5%, 10% and even more in November. December gains looks likely with the banks trying to outbeat each other in recovery from under-valuation. |

Payunsin: If you are not averse to risk, OANDO. That's what I will be buying, because to me it has higher probability of upside than that of downside. And the downside risk has a floor of N7. Many banks still look good even though they have gained a lot this year. There is a very high likelihood they will continue gaining if there are no local or global disruptions. Top picks for me are UBA, FCMB & ZENITH. NB: No one can predict local or global disruptions with a certainty. So there are risks of capital loss involved in stock investment. Not a good idea to invest money one will need within a year or two in the market. 3 Likes |

yMcy56:lol. Make I follow you ask oh! Just like that? I think it would be a very very positive news for the shareholders of it is unbundled. Imagine geregu with far less capacity than Transcorp Power, yet geregu is selling at 399 and transcorp at 6.95. Let them separate the power sector and allow geregu lift its price. But I hope they are not planning to separate it and sell to an entity like FO did with forte oil. |
