If you can pay $18,000 CAD out of the total $23,500 CAD required, it would be prudent to complete the full payment. This leaves you with sufficient funds to cover living expenses and other miscellaneous fees. Completing the full payment upfront not only demonstrates financial responsibility but also ensures that you have allocated funds for all aspects of your stay. This approach can enhance the credibility of your financial standing and strengthen your overall application. Kimzy4u: 1 Like |

Phemmyadot:Depending on where your sister resides, Having both parents as US citizen is not a home ties and it will be hard to convince the VO that both your sister, husband, and any dependant will return back home. It will be a Huge red flag both home ties & Financial incapability. They need to provide a proof of fund, if your parents can send the money in lump to your sister and submit proof of gift deed, payslips, work ID. Your sister hubby and daughter needs to come in as dependant visit visa. |

Thank you. I used my brother as my sponsor with 34million as proof of fund. Cost of tuition 12000 CAD and I paid 6205 CAD as part of my tuition. From the correspondence mail it stated that I don't have home ties and insufficient funds. Please how do I request for GCMS and what is the way forward? Thank you Bobomaigida: |

Immacbaby:I don't think TCC is gotten as per student,it's basically what shows you pay tax,so they are expecting that you work, one benefit of the form A is for Nigerian tax payers. If you don't have it,go to a tax office n ask for it,it's bout 150-250k. If you have the money u want to transfer to your school in a tax payer's acct already, kindly beg them to go to tax office and get their TCC,it should cost 50k for those who genuinely pay tax(cos the company name will be under tax payers list in the state where they work). P.S,this is what I was told when I did mine ooh,I may be wrong. And I'm not saying you should transfer the cash from the acct you used in initiating the formA ooh,it's a little too late for that. But if you have it in an acct of someone who pays tax, beckon on them to go get the cert from tax office. Also wait for others to contribute. |

Phemmyadot: Hey ! Your parents being a US citizens are good to go and sponsor your sister together with her hubby and kids if they have the financial capability and yes they can use their US bank accounts . There is nothing wrong for parents living in the US and wanting to spend their money on their daughter if they have the ability . Common, the US embassy as well as the Canadian high commission are only concern about their financial capabilities . If they like they can sponsor their entire family to Canada . Canada is still looking for people to come over if they have the financial ability and they qualified to do so in LEGAL WAYS. CHEERS ! |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by Bobomaigida: 4:07pm On Dec 01, 2023 |
excel1960: You did not sufficiently prove either the sources of the N34m or the relationship with your brother. IRCC does not really ascribe much positive weight to huge balances that cannot be explained by the applicant. So, the main thing you might have to do is proving the money was legitimately made with documentary proofs. You also need to build more substance into your home ties, you will need to show what are those things or who are those persons that will pull you back to your home country are your temporary stay in Canada 1 Like |
