Please is there anything like introduction letter from IRCC after your visa is approved? Or is it same thing with the one you have to download from the portal when you click on the "Original Passport Request" ? |

Good evening everyone. Please a friend of mine needs an advice. He has an admission for MBA in Canada and an admission for Social Work in the UK. He tried getting an admission to Social Work in Canada but couldn’t so he eventually opted for an MBA. He is in his late thirties. He prefers Canada as a destination because the immigration pathway to PR is shorter and more stable. However, he prefers Masters in Social Work because it has better prospects for career and jobs and he is also better suited for it. His only concern about the UK is the immigration pathway otherwise what he really wants is Social Work. And his major concern with the MBA is getting a good job after graduating since the MBA is not from one of the top business schools in Canada. So guys, what will you advice? MBA in a low rated university in Canada or MSW in UK? If he chooses UK, will he be able to get a job as a social worker in Canada after graduating in UK? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 9:37pm On Dec 01, 2023 |
Tucode: There should be no concern traveling to any foreign country to acquire your higher education if that's solely reason for traveling. In terms of PR, you shouldn't have that at the back of your mind yet, you should demonstrate your purpose of temporary migration first. Clear all doubts and remember MBA or Latter in foreign nation can land you a job in Nigeria if you are competent and got connections. Having said that, you can as well be legible for PGWP in Canada after your studies, whilst you can be working as a student on few hrs weekly. UK ont he other part is closing up dependant visa from Jan 2024, should incase you have the intent to bring in a loved one. Your overall financial stability will help you secure a study visa in both countries; although you need an LMIA job to immigrate from UK to Canada |

Please how long should the funds presented in your printed account statement remain in your account before you transfer it out? Let me rephrase is it okay to move the funds after you’ve printed your account statement? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by MatrixReloaded: 10:59pm On Dec 01, 2023 |
bangist:It remains a mystery how they find out your financial incapability. It's always advisable to keep your funds intact through out your waiting period. Often times IRCC have bridge your agreement with your financial institution in other to remain transparent in the eyes of a western state where all financial misrepresentation is the order of the day in our dear nation. They know this for sure that's why they impore private agents to carry out this various tasks in all commercial financial institutions. That's why they don't accept mfb because it's hard to find most of there branch in the state region where they operate. Let me rephrase it; the money in your account is for yout living expense, study and transportation. It should remain intact all through your application stage. 1 Like |

Please I need clarification on this; I heard that when you apply for mpower loan, it's advisable to add extra portion that will cover for your repayment while studying and that you can collect the excess from your school? Please how true is that |

PPR Alert!!!! The truth is I never thought I would type those words this year. My journey has been rough but God's grace stood for me. Before anything I would like to thank 3 people who helped me psychologically and materially during this process. Zubizareta, Subzero, and another random NL user like me whom I don't even know their username but we discuss our applications on WhatsApp. I can't thank these people well enough. Zubizareta was always there for me and was so genuinely invested in my application. Subzero was almost like my elder brother and the third user guided me like he knew me from Adam. Even though I just randomly mailed him. These 3 were God sent to me and are the reason I tried one more time for this study permit after 2 refusals. My application timeline Submitted 15th November Medical Pass 24th November Eligibility Started 27 November PPR 1 December Total 15 days. Documents submitted To be very honest with you, there was nothing special about my application. The same documents I submitted gave me refusal in August and I only showed higher proof of funds. Financial Documents Letter of Finance Explanation (with table showing detailed financial plan) Tuition Schedule and how I intend to pay my fees Funding letters by the department and by my supervisor (funding of $32,000) Documents showing proof of sold car Approval of Study Leave Payment by my company Recommendation letter by my company's founder Recommendation letter by my University of Manitoba Supervisor Documents showing events and trainings sponsored by my company Bank Statement (4 months showing 10million) Study leave approval letter from my company Land property deed gift document Land survey document I and my wife's business registration documents Proof of rent paid for space for the business Invoices for clients My father's letter of sponsorship (explaining that he will strictly paying for my flight to and from Canada) My fathers bank statements (showing around 3 million) Other Documents (Client information) A 3 paged SOP Employment letter Promotion offer letter Proof of research work Acceptance letter Marriage certificate Degree Certificate BSC transcript NYSC certificate CV Police Certificate Extra im1249 page From someone who has been refused twice by Canada and once by U.S with 2 of those rejections coming in span of one month, my sincere prayer for whoever is reading this is that you may feel the exact same joy I am feeling right now. My wife always tells me this and I will tell you now.."If this is what you really want, if you are sure in your heart that this is the path for you, then keep trying". 16 Likes 1 Share
