How long was the position opened for? And was there a mad pump? cos funding rate can increase as a result of that.

Crypto market has been seriously manipulated to favour only the big players holding bitcoin. I do not forseen any alts holder making reasonable profit even if bitcoin reach 100k. It was never like this before. Only SOL and handful of others made a serious moves, others are just losing it at wide margins irrespective of bitcoin movement.

If you have big fund, trade only bitcoin and some alts that move with it.

From $16k bitcoin to 38k bitcoin...if that is not a bull run , I do not know what it is ...as for me it started already , its not as if the market needs to announce itself whether it has started the bull run or not..just go with the flow or else the bitcoin price will reach a new ATH right before your eyes while you are still thinking whether bull run started or not..

What is #Funding Rates ?

#Funding Rates refer to the fees that are paid between #traders on perpetual #futures contracts. Perpetual futures contracts are a type of #derivative contract that allows traders to bet on the future price of an #asset without actually owning it.

Funding Rates are used to maintain the price of a #perpetual futures contract to the price of the underlying asset. These fees are typically paid between #buyers and #sellers of the contract and are used to ensure that the price of the #contract stays close to the actual price of the underlying asset.

The Funding Rate is calculated every fixed period (usually every eight #hours) and is paid by traders who are on the opposite side of the contract.
