The system actually forces you into care. Once a change is made, it takes time for people to know about the change. Till date people still have to explain to potential employers what PSW is and this is how many years after commencement....

In previous years, when people get jobs with PSW, you will agree that the population was not like this. People did not apply the wisdom of exploiting the route at the time. Now, we have much more people competing for these PSW jobs. This is aside from the fact that people from "diverse background" are sometimes taken as an item to mean people running away from war, whose house was burnt, facing serious poverty and a fundamentally faulty education system., which makes it more challenging getting some of these jobs. A man with a family is just forced to take that and have rest of mind.

@Goke7 as our class monitor can you please advise what the average wage is for this week as it appears to change every few weeks on this thread 😝. Last time I checked it was about £70K.

If a man chooses to come to the UK with a family of 4 for example, and chooses to remain in the UK and chooses to apply to care as his best/only option to get sponsorship and/or avoid the high IHS costs for his family,

Once again all the above choices might be valid, and there is nothing wrong with care at all, but my point is the UK government did not force care or any of the above choices on him.

This is very valid. I got a regret mail at EE after second level interview which looked very promising... Something tells me I did not get that job simply because I am less than 6 months in UK. I noticed the interviewer's countenance changed when discussions reached there... It is well.

There many people here, came into the UK at different times to different cities and with different levels of supports both from Nigeria and in the UK.

Is it as difficult as those ppl told you? YES . It's the truth do not ignore.
Could it be easier for you ? YES and NO.

You need to sit down and think about
time you want to migrate
the cost to you personally to migrate
the living costs in the UK at the time you want to migrate
and your own personal reasons for migrating.

If you are looking to others to tell you what to do then you are avoiding being responsible for your actions.

Well, this isn’t entirely right because theres also an “illusion of choice” where the available choices are limited or predetermined and set to intentionally steer you in a certain direction.

So it’s not exactly “free choice” if the choices they’ve intentionally made available steers you in a certain direction and you HAVE to make it, because your survival depends on it. Anything that involves survival cannot be said to be “choice”.

It’s actually difficult to get most jobs once your visa is less than a year especially if they are not going to sponsor. That’s a fact, even in some cases if it’s even less than 2 years

This immigration rule changes may have actually increased my BP. I ve been fuming since yesterday. 😤

What in the heck is this sh*t ? How will people live here without their families? I didn't like their being allowed to underpay us so that part of it is fine. But all the other stipulations are cr*p.
