Mjhay: Oga what’s it going to cost you to get a new statement? You can get a new bank statement in 2 hours. What are you hiding? Don’t play with your application. Using a statement dated a month ago today would raise suspicion. 1 Like |

Good evening everyone. I do have a friend who just got ITA. Can she go for up front medicals? Or she has to wait to receive a request for her to go for medicals. I would appreciate your kind response |

Debbieeeeeee: Yes, albeit not at this rate, the competition has gotten stiffer . For perspective, this score(561) after one month of no draws is higher than the draw of July 2022 after a year plus of no general draws during COVID at 557. |

aurorae1:PNP draws held during that period. This period there were no draws at all from IRCC except the provinces. During that period you’re referring to IRCC held PNP draws only steadily. 2 Likes |

Debbieeeeeee: 100%...........just compare 2018 to now, % increase in the 461-600 bucket is in the thousands. Looks like COVID-era CEC draws also led to student numbers rising, now former students with PGWPs are flooding the pool. My advice to anyone whose NOC is not in demand would be to bite the bullet & learn French (additional CRS points wise and money wise) - not easy at all but it's the most rationale choice now if you look at the options coldly. With French you'll still be ahead in 2 years time than someone who went to Canada as a student and completed a 1/2 yr degree and has 1 year Canadian work experience (CRS grid facts) and will spend far far far less money, especially now that the Student POF (excluding tuition & travel fees) is doubling from Jan 2024 and PGWP extensions are ending soon. Alternative is to pivot careers and get a job in an in-demand NOCs even if only for a year (for PNP and FSW CBDs) There's always the chance of a miracle but prepare like there's none on the horizon. Stay hopeful, pray that the odds will favour you more often than not, but please do the needful. All the best guys! #YouCanDoIt 8 Likes

Debbieeeeeee: So much more awareness... This year alone has blown up the pool, now add the circa 800000 students most of whom plan to transition to PR, the temp. workers and others, for PR spots of less than 260,000 in the economic class... It's crazy... |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by aurorae1: 4:48pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
GraciousWords: That 451-600 I second learning French, don't doubt, don't fret, just do it! It's not easy, but except one is in an in demand category (with good scores o), french remains promising. It's definitely not easy but it can be done. 2 Likes |

Hello everyone, I hope you are all fine. Been a while here. I have a question please, It's quite complicated but I'II simplify it AMAP. I recently got a BCPNP invitation for the International Graduate Stream, the main requirement is to have a Job Offer in Tech, which I have already. Presently working in the company and the NOC is 22221 (User Support Tech). On the other hand, my primary NOC in my Express Entry profile is 60020 (Retail and Wholesale Manager) because I was self-employed and managed a business in Nigeria. Is it going to be an issue if I have NOC 22221 on my nomination certificate while my EE primary NOC is 60020 during my PR application? What are your thoughts please.? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by GraciousWords: 8:59pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
Afolavid: For PNPs that are Express Entry related (e.g. BC Immigration streams that have the EEBC option), my assumption was that the NOC that got you the nomination had to be the same as the primary NOC on your Express Entry profile.......I could be wrong. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/permanent-residence/express-entry/provincial-nominee-program.html extract Officers must assess the application based on the NOC code listed on the confirmation of nomination Check on canada.visa for other views too. If you have 1 year minimum WE on 22221, the easiest thing would be to change your primary NOC to 22221. 60020 would still be listed under WE and make up part of the 3 years minimum, it just wouldn't be the primary. 1 Like |

Please guys, I have a question. When you get ITA, how many days are you supposed to have your money for before submitting your documents. My score is 475. I want to know if I can wait until I get ITA before gathering my funds because, I cannot get them all now |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by Afolavid: 1:00am On Dec 09, 2023 |
GraciousWords: Awesome!!! Thanks a lot for your input 🙏. I've tried searching on it too but no much info out there. I'd just assume it has to be the same NOC on both sides, to be safe. Regarding your smart suggestion, i thought of the same, which brings me to one more question please. Let's say I was doing I.T Support the first year (NOC 22221- Nature of Business 1,2, and 4 in the screenshot) while the last 2 years was used for sales of Computer + Accessories (NOC 60020- Nature of Business 3 and 5). Is using this single CAC certificate to proof the 2 different NOCs not going to be an issue since different nature of business is stated there? Other accompanying docs for each NOC will be provided as well.
