Alvinm588: It's not a good idea to use a company bank account as financial evidence to support visitor visa applications. What is your relationship with the company, and what is the company going to benefit from sponsoring your vacation trip? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by oluayebenz: 11:00pm On Dec 07, 2023 |
Ashirioluwa: Yes @Hola55 was right. It's mandatory to pay for transmission fee if your biometric capturing was not recent. The fee will only be waived if it's a recent biometric with recent application. 2 Likes |

In Actual FACT, The kind of monies that is made from migration pass bl--- money No be clear eye na, see UK don go open submission center for Port harcourt They want to cover every region. someone will now tell me it is not a business venture, lol. oluayebenz:The under development in Africa will continue to have negative effects on the people. AFRICANS NEED TO ARISE AND OWN IT! We Japa, Do hard jobs overseas, migrants build foreign nations and then dash us 100 million euros in RETURN. Lol. Understand the concept, we are all playing along. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by hunee: 11:48pm On Dec 07, 2023 |
My own advise to people on this Japa thing is not to disconnect from home. Home will always be home as titled in Sound Sultan(late) Song, "Motherlan" . When you make monies abroad, come back and invest your monies. Those of us that are experienced travelers will understand the message better. In South Africa, 2019/2020, During the xephonbic attacks, i had people who lost their properties and valuables. Some of them had to be outbounded on an airpeace evacuation flight, practically coming back to start from the scratch. It will be a disservice to yourself and family if you make monies abroad, and do not go home to do anything. A word is enough for wise. Migrate, make monies, come back and invest. The goal is to have a secured future. I wish everyone well. 3 Likes |

Please, how does IRCC calculate Exchange rate. Is it CBN rate? Their exchange rate site is down. How much is CAD 2,350 (money I claimed to be bringing to Canada) in Naira and is N2,000,000 account balance enough to cover it and still be enough to remain. |

Good day everyone, I want to invite my younger sister who is an undergraduate to visit me in Canada. Can my dad send funds to my sister's account to support her visa application process? Thank you |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ajalalomo: 5:07pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
lakeside30: This kind of thing happens frequently, and just because they applied as a family group doesn't guarantee that each member of the group would be approved or denied on the same day. Read through previous posts, you will see that it happened to a lot of people too. @larrybam |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ajalalomo: 5:20pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
mumayo: You, your dad or both of you can sponsor her vacation trip, but transferring money to her account won’t be a good idea. - Let your dad write a letter as per the vacation trip and the type of support he is willing to give her. - She will need copy of your dad bank statement - Any documents that can show a father and daughter relationship e.g birth certificate. You will have been the best person to do it if you have enough money in your account. 1 Like |

tinacrl01: Anyone that applies for a visa must show proof that he or she is financially okay to travel. It doesn’t matter if you apply for a visitor, student or business visa. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by mumayo: 6:03pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
Ajalalomo: Thank you for your response. I knew someone whose application was refused because of financial cost, their relative in Canada had sponsored them. I thought me acting as her sponsor would jeopardize the application, hence i suggested our father. What documents can she provide as proof of ties to home country? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by NewBoyKhashoggi(m): 6:29pm On Dec 08, 2023 |
mumayo: Hey 🤠 Let me support Ajalalomo ... Your dad would be in the best position to stand as her sponsor , therefore provide any supporting funds to them at home . That aside , even if your dad has a billion in his account as the sponsor , you also have to proof to the high commission that you are financially okay to foot all her bills during her time of stays with you . Some of the most important documents she has to prepare for the embassy are ; 1. Bank statement 2. Vacation grant /Letter from her HOD narrating the date of departure and arrival . 2. Short Holiday letter from a Pastor or Imam , telling the High commission her important role every Sundays in the church or every Fridays at the mosque 3. Short holiday letter from a place of work where she is presently undergoing Work-Study etc. She doesn't have any tangibles ties to return to Nigeria aside her SCHOOL and she may decide to jettison her study back in Nigeria ..BUT the aforementioned above has tied her down to some activities that can affect her emotionally if you get the GIMMICKS . Best Wishes 🙏 2 Likes |

You or her Dad can sponsor her, however, it’s also advisable she submits her personal bank account statement showing some funds that she is doing well in her home country. mumayo: 1 Like |
