You should watch it too. You would learn to spell the word. NatgeoWIDE indeed.

Typical senselessness masked as logic.

Let's hear from you. Don't play mute and have us assume you are knowledgeable. grin
Eastern brown snake, Black mamba, Coastal taipan, Fer-de-lance, Saw-scaled viper etc…these are highly venomous snakes and they can grow into the size in that picture of the post and even larger.
Just because you watch NatGeoWild doesn’t make you Simon Keys or some snake specialist. Learn, so you don’t get sent to meet your creator via snake bite.

Any snake that fat and big is definitely non-venomous. Meaning they are not that harmful and confrontational. They can't bit to kill you, but they can constrict and swallow sizeable preys. King cobras are the longest venomous snake and they are not even fat. If you leave this snake, it would go away. If you looseguard, it would try its luck.

Snakes are most times nonconfrontational.
Their first instinct is to run/hide from humans.

You also have a problem!!!

I reacted because your said Phytons aren't harmful.

If you are a fan of Nat Geo Wild, you would understand how a non venomous snake like Phyton is dangerous.

And if you read to understand, you would have seen I said they are not that harmful and confrontational because they do not bite to kill. However, they CONSTRICT. In some places in Anambra, larger pythons enter houses and people ignore them until they leave.

You should take a moment to read next time. Thanks!

I watch Simon Keys a lot and neither him nor Siouxsie would tell you that a black mamba is bigger than a python. NO VENOMOUS SNAKE GROWS AS FAT or FATTER AS A NONVENOMOUS SNAKE. Not a mamba, not a taipan, not a cobra. Not one!

The King Cobra is the longest venomous snake and it is not heavier than a Burmese python! Go and read. Stop arguing!

Just because you can’t name any doesn’t mean someone else can’t.
Use a search engine and search for pictures and videos of the snakes i just mentioned so that you can educate yourself before you die of ignorance via snake bite.

Who ever mentioned in this post that a Black mamba is bigger than a Python? You said a snake that large (referring to the snake in the pic op posted) cannot be venomous and i just mentioned snakes that are venomous and can grow up to the size of the snake in the picture, now you are shifting the goalpost and bringing up another argument.

Lol
Yeah sure, some peeps don't know much about snakes

In ondo state, mountainous areas, small boys hunt snakes with bare hands

When a big snake is in a hole or crevice, they hold it and bring it out with bare hands

Snakes can't see in darkness, they are more or less blind...

Have you been to or heard of Idanre hills?

It's a popular tourist attraction in ondo state, huge mountains, very cold weather, nice place

First you claimed no venomous snake can be that big, now you have changed argument to which is bigger between a King Cobra and a Python.
It’s you who needs to stop arguing, you confidently misinformed people.

I should be asking you that because you must have missed the bane and context of the argument.

So you know a mamba isn't bigger than a python, yet you claim venomous snakes can be larger than pythons? This confusion is plenty.

Yes, a snake that big is definitely nonvenomous. Post the pic of a mamba that big. Just one pic of a mamba as big as the snake in that picture.

Until then, good to see you concede.

Have a nice century.

Yet they won't read and learn. Snakes know their strength. Even king cobras know they are intimidating with their hood and that is why they stand when threatened.

I have heard a lot about it, but never been there. Seen a few threads on Nairaland too. It looks dead for lack of better words.

Yes, the Fer-de-lance can grow even bigger than the snake in the picture, one was shown on a TV show in Australia that weighed over 10kg and 8+ ft long so what’s your point.
You claimed that no venomous snake can be as big as the one OP posted, the size of the snake OP posted is the point of emphasis here and i just mentioned species of venomous snakes that can grow that big and even bigger, now how does that translate into the argument of which is bigger between the black mamba and the python?
You are just playing half-smart. Go find a pic of a coastal taipan on the internet yourself it’s 2023.
Next time don’t mislead people with such information because some NL illiterate might actually believe you that a venomous snake can’t get that big and end up bitten.

Post the pic na.

Larger indeed. The top largest snakes in the world are pythons and anacondas. But you and your beer parlour logic wants to sneak in fernandez whatever.

Hahahahaha @ 10kg and 8ft long. Do you know the weight and length of a full grown python? Do you know the length of a grown cobra that is the longest venomous snake? I shouldn't have wasted my time with you.grin grin

Go back and look that picture well!! Look at the thickness of the upper body. Then go look your fernandez and taipan.

You are just trying to divert attention from the fact that you lied about no venomous snake growing that big…I mentioned up to four venomous snakes that can grow that big, instead of admitting your error and learn something new because we learn everyday and you cannot know everything…instead you are trying in vain to force another argument about which is bigger between a python and a mamba.
Ignorance is not bliss. Wasted time with me? I don’t care about you and whoever you are, get a grip.
