They actually did but not as number 1. Ivory Coast voted him second, Ghana voted him third etc. Amedino99: |

If I were Napoli this is the best time to cash in Osimhen. Sell and reinvest that money to strengthen and refresh the side. The value will keep on dropping. They did this same mistake with Lavezzi, Koulibaly and Hamsik, etc.... They will never learn 10 Likes |

They had the best chances and Osimhen was pivot to that. They should have won. Your advice should be for Juventus about Vhlahovic cos Juve played nonsense! Edu93: |

Marjoribanks: I agree that he definitely doesn’t deserve it ahead of osimehn I’m just telling you about the possibility of an ojoro citing the ballon d’or award earlier this year that haaland deserved |

Edu93: Goals doesn’t make you the best player but the number of goals that haaland scored last season was astronomical and he was the best player in that season. (Not 7 World Cup games) his last season numbers was prime Ronaldo, Messi numbers 1 Like |

Marjoribanks:No Marjori,Uzoho keeping 20 clean sheet in NPFL?even Enyeama and Ejide didn’t have such record.Francis Uzoho that failed to have single clean sheet against Saudi,Mozambique,Lesotho and Zimbabwe, infact conceded 6 goals Pls has Stanley Nwabili proved himself in the continent but continental standard is for NPFL keepers.Vincent Enyeama and Austin Ejide didn’t used continent to make eagles but pure talents. My point is Peseiro saying Stanley Nwabili is better than what we have here or just cus he is in South Africa league, all I see here is agent working, nothing more. I repeat it Nwabili is not better than Osayi Kingdom and Christian Nwoke but anyhow we need fresh hands between the sticks. 2 Likes |

Kog45:I'm still wondering why Pajero didn't feature any of them in d friendlies. Why stick with only Uzoho whereas you go to competitions with 3Gks. It doesn't make sense. Besides uzoho was not active in his club. No contingency plan at all. Now we will be stuck with a greenhorn at the AFCON. 1 Like |

zuchyblink:Do not mind Peseiro you have Osayi Kingdom with 10 clean sheets in 12 matches but Stanley Nwabili of struggling Chippa United in SA league is the way out.I just don’t know why we keep on deceiving ourselves. If any of Osayi Kingdom,Christian Nwoke,Amas Obasogie and Kayode Bankole are not good enough then NPFL should be scrapped. 2 Likes |

Kog45:so if we pick Osayi for Afcon then he decides to move to Ascoli who are 4th from bottom in Serie B, we should drop him and go for Nwoke because he has 500 clean sheet in the Nigerian league? Fantastic logic |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by caprikon: 11:37am On Dec 09, 2023 |
jihday: I think the crux of the matter is totally overlooking the quality in the NPFL. The NPFL has given us solid keepers in the past so it makes sense to have a fair look at what we have both home and abroad for the goalie position in particular. 2 Likes |

We've been careless with the GK situation over the past few year. Thank God something is finally being done |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by jihday(m): 12:55pm On Dec 09, 2023 |
caprikon:what if he’s better than what we have in the NPFL? The GK position isn’t a striker position where you can chop and change as you like, Nwabili has 3 highest save percentage, joint 3rd for clean sheet in a league that’s is by all metric absolutely clear of our own league so putting his call up down to agent work is very very unfair, unless he has a good reason to say that sha |

jihday:I hate discussing football on IF….so let’s talk as it is now Oga. Pls what is laughable in my opinion…my line and submission should give you more football reasoning than talking IF. Yes having clean sheet in 10 games out of 12 is unique, average keeper don’t do it but talented ones. I’m not against Nwabili but telling me cuz he is is outside then he is better than Osayi,Amas,Nwoke and Bankole,no I will not accept that…. The last time NPFL produced what we are having now was Enyeama,Ejide and Aiyenugba era,so time to give them the chance. 1 Like |

jihday:Pls is Stanley Nwabili already super eagle number one that we are dropping him for Osayi cus I don’t understand your point. Oga do you think am just talking bla bla…these are Nigeria goalkeepers who had it so good in SA league,Willy Opara,Daniel Akpeyi,Greg Etafia,Peterside Idah, pls just tell me how they fare in eagles color. ***watching Nwabili Chippa live against Arrows…24 minutes gone with Chippa leading with a goal….Nwabili so far cool. |
