I expect Obi to sustain his Party's role of opposition till the next polls. He seems to be doing a good job of keeping Nigerians abreast of how much better governance can be, if their selected leaders really want to work for them. A comparison of our budget is a perfect example of how Nigeria cannot afford further waste of resources on frivolities. For instance, out of the N1.3trillion budgeted for infrastructure in 2024, N25 billion has already been allocated to just two individuals who are nowhere close to homelessness! When you extrapolate that to every other elected/appointed official, you just might discover that almost a quarter of that budget is meant to service the ruling class!
