You went to my post and cropped out the part you didn't like, which is highlighted below, and came back asking stupid questions.

I try to approach these discussions believing we are all interested in the good of Nigeria or at least, of Nigerians, but perhaps we have different ways of seeing things. But you're actually a deceitful person. I am genuinely disappointed you had to resort to such a lack of integrity.

Oga I quoted your comment, it is obvious you went back to modify your comment when the backlash of your defense started coming in, so please cut the crap of me editing anything, you are the one who went to edit to save face, you can go to the page it is still there like that..

I modified my comment a few seconds after making it, which is why every other person who has quoted my apart from you has that modified part of my post it. But you went back and seeing that it had bee modified, still cropped it out to make some unreasonable point. Even if you felt that I had cropped it out to "save face" - a person with integrity would have directly confronted me not editing the post you quoted.

You can clearly see from the image below that my post was mentioned at 8:28 by this other person and the modification had already been made before then, hence its presence in the post he quoted. So which backlash? Do I look like the type to fear a backlash from clearly unintelligent fellows??

Shame on you.

APC brought tribalism into our politics
Besides, corruption is beyond tribe. Politicians must hide under tribe when they are called out for corruption.
Lastly, Obi is doing the job of opposition which is to criticize. The present govt's agenda is totally narrow: FDI and in fairness to Obi he has spoken about it.
You are a kid to write the bolded part. So, APC was in existence during the Biafra war....bah? APC was in existence during military rule that tribalism was so obvious. Like I said...you are a kid. It started long ago....not now that you are mature. This is why it is good to add historical knowledge to politics. Since you were not born then, if you had studied history well, you would have known the birth of tribalism...and it would habe stopped you from showing your lack of knowledge..

If his job is to criticise without giving out any solution, he is as bad as Gen Buhari. And you are tribalistic because you have failed to see the main point here.

The real reason you are supporting Obi is cos he is Ibo like you. And this is exactly what I am addressing here.

See... you should start Biafra nation....make una leave Nigeria. This is the best. Honestly. Let everyone part ways.

humilitypays:
There is nothing like attitudinal change, Nigerians need to be bold and demand for total division of Nigeria or complete restructuring of Nigeria to reduce power at the federal level in order for Nigerian leaders to be held accountable.

The current one Nigeria is not working, will never work and can never work due to too many tribes and religion making Nigerians not to be united in revolting against bad leaders and useless government policies.

It is government laws, policies and institutions that instill discipline into people all over the world. The Whiteman is as corrupt as the black man but the Whiteman being wise and smart first made sure they built strong government institutions, laws, policies to ensure human greed, selfishness and corruption is managed to the barest minimum through government institutions and working system.

Nigerians have become aware and angry about the failure of successive Nigerian governments and are desiring positive change but what is holding Nigerians down from pursuing this change with one voice and one goal is tribalism (ethnicism) and religious division.

If Nigeria is made up of Yorubas alone for instance, I can guarantee you that they will not allow someone like Bola Tinubu to lead their nation and if by any chance they do allow him, they will rise up together against him demanding for his resignation or immediate amendments.

Same applies if Nigeria was a country that comprise only of Hausas or Fulanis, they wouldn't have condoned Buhari's failure for 8 good years, they would have revolted against him in oneness without division.

It is citizens that hold leaders accountable but due to tribalism and religious division, Nigerian leaders cannot be held accountable by Nigerian citizens who are mostly divided along tribal and religious lines.

So dividing Nigeria into smaller countries comprising of people of same tribe/religion will reduce the leadership failures because people will be united in revolting against bad leaders without having tribal or religious coloration.

If Nigeria is a country of one tribe, believe me, APC can never return to power.

Don't mention States that what about states, Nigerian states have no power, Presidency controls everything in Nigeria.

State Governors don't even have control over the Police operating in their state.

Thank you so much for this outburst.

Nigeria should be bold enough to demand total peaceful division/dissolution of this entity or restructuring at the very least.
A Nigeria with only one tribe can not allow people like tinubu, Obi or Buhari to contest for president.

They are failures but Tribalism and religious sentiment will always make Nigerians vote for bad leaders.

Beautiful, sincere analysis… 👍

epainos:
I will repeat "again and again" that I do not see Obi as a gift. He is a noise maker. Obi has only compared data...period!

What should he have done? Yes, the starting point is the comparison of data to show there are problems, But beyond identifying the problems, what are the possible solutions?

Also, Obi has not for a single day tried to understand what this administration is doing, but blindly criticizing everything without suggesting any solution. I am not a fan of this administration, to be honest, and I still do not see it coming out successfully, though, I used to see Jagaban as a resourceful guy. But after the revelation of his dark side, I don't respect him anymore.

If I was Obi, I would criticise or praise the solutions they are presently trying out. But is Obi doing this? Nope. He is only showing us there are problems cos of some figures he has identified. Does this give me the assurance he can fix Nigeria? Absolutely not. I am even more scared he is only beating the drum very noisily like Gen Dullard Buhari who didn't know the solution but got people who gave him Jonathan's administration shortcomings.

Obi needs to do better.

Lastly...the single factor we need to take into consideration is the effect of the multi-ethnic groups that are blindly tribalistic on the nation. Does China have this? What could have been the effect on China if it was there? Hmmmmm! This factor we want to cover up. And I repeat that this is the main factor that has been feeding corruption. This tribalism factor is the single factor I have identified as the reason corruption cannot be defeated. And is there any nation presently in the world having the same issue as Nigeria? Please, if you know, kindly tell me ....and let us analyse the nation also.

If Nigeria must be progressive, we need to tackle tribalism so we can reduce corruption drastically. No policy can work amid corruption. So, let us get rid of the source of energy of corruption first. Any policy anyone is bringing won't work as long as we cannot arrest corruption. EFCC, ICPC, and many other solutions have failed. And the reason is that we have not yet addressed tribalism.

If you ask me, I think Nigeria cannot address tribalism because this issue is too deep. So, the one solution I have is splitting Nigeria. Nigeria seems to be a nation destined to fail. Please, if you have a solution apart from my idea, bring it on board.

Thank you!

As much as i agree with much of your views/opinions, citing "Tribalism" as our major problem is a NiL for me @least according to the 2023 election, Tinubu is frm SW and he got more vote from North than Sw, asides from the East APC had votes from all sides.

The Major problem of these country is Poverty, which is a deliberate effort by our leaders to keep the people below poverty line so they can keep the people under leash.
when you don't have money you are vulnerable to control and contented with little,

We worship money tew much in these part of the world and that is what fuels "Corruption".

No other solution would be better than yours. Tribalism and corruption is the problem with naigeria and naigerians. I have being saying the same thing since time began.

Even if Obi won the election if he would still work with tribal bigots and corrupt people nothing would have worked in his regime. %80 of adult Naigerian are corrupt and tribalistic the other %20 are still learning how to be tribalistic and corrupt. So it means every Naigerian adult is corrupt. grin grin grin Naigeria can try from here to Jarusalem nothing and nothing will work in Naigeria as long as tribalism and corruption leads in Naigeria. Tinubu have nothing to offer Naigerians and he don't care. Afterall poverty is not affecting him and his families plus he is an old man who does have long to live..

The best thing for Naigeria is to split. Alot of knows this truth but are just covering it and pretending that Naigeria is one nation. Naigeria will never ever work rather it will get worst. Fact! Obi should forget about Naigeria and campaign for the splitting of the long overdue arranged marriage union called Naigeria.

Obi should just forget Naigeria and Naigerians. The problem with Naigeria are Naigerians themselves. Every Naigerian adult is corrupt and tribalitic.

A wealthy man like Obi should be enjoying his life with his children and grand children rather he is concerning himself with a problematic corrupt Naition like Naigeria., Naigeria can never be redeemed. Naigeria was invented to fail but to enrich few crooks who calls themselves politicians from the start.

It's a shame people have refused to understand that 1411 delegates means the total number coming from your country, not the total number sponsored by your government.

Our government sent 422 or so delegates so let's do the comparison right, by comparing that with China's total government-sponsored delegates. Not that that would justify the figure, but if we're going to do an analysis, let's do it right.

It is also weird for Obi to make such statements knowing fully well that his party is represented by Joe Ajaero and his team. You are taking part in the thing you are criticizing so why should anyone listen to you?

Anyway, it's good to see Mr Obi is back to his stat cramming cheesy I thought he had stopped.

So spending 3billion on 422 delegates is right abi. Bros go and sit down abeg.

You are not educated and u are not exposed.

You said tribe is Nigeria's problems and that no other country with much tribe difference that can go forward, you are wrong.

Without going far, INDIA has more tribal differences than Nigeria and India also has worst religious problems than Nigeria but India is matching forward.

There are many many countries with this tribe issue and religion issues than Nigeria but are economically better and doing.

Statistics are the starting point to solving any problems, so u are wrong again.

My broda, we are all in thia together but if we can realise that we are wrong then we will find the solution instead of remaining in ignorance
